Believe me I've never been so happy with homemade restaurant food. This, actually provides the best quality homemade, "Best in Taste" food in Dehradun. MUST VISIT place for tourists. ( Also, it's really really pocket friendly in budget). It's like a second home for food.

First I was shocked after seeing the board of filter coffee at Dehradun. Secondly I was shocked after my first bite of Onion uttappam with sambar. The samber made perfectly like a South Indian. Yes .u are right. The owner of this restaurant , ma'am talks very fleuent in Tamil , English , Malayalam and Punjabi. After that I ordered a filter coffee. It was also matched with Tamilnadu. They are getting order via phones if u need Sambar Rasam kootu poriyal and Appalam. A perfect south meals...

I am writing this as I felt good abt this place , Oberio's restaurant.
We haven't had a South indian food for 10days of our trip. We found this hotel through Google and visited their. Food was good, The owner spoke to us like family person and even helped with details to visit few places in and around dehradun. In our 2busy days visited same hotel for 4 times. It's always not the food but interaction with me was good. 4/5 for Food. If i visit dehradun again definately will go again.

delicious taste with affordable pricing. south-indian food is really amazing . you can get masala dosa, etli sambhar and lassi coffee and badam pista in drinks. its located in palten market. its mostly crowded because of its laste and very popular for south- indian food.

My life first trip was in Dehradun and this restaurant was that "sone pe suhaga" for me in whole trip. They serve the best south indian food in whole Dehradun. If you are in Dehradun then you must visit Oberoi's Restaurant for the best food in Dehradun.

I've never tried South Indian in Dehradun before and trust me after coming from Pune, I could finally find a place where the taste is authentic and the service is awesome. You can pour the tasty sambhar in Idli and medu wada and enjoy the flavours soaked in it..masala dosa is filled with delicious masala and nariyal chutney with another spicy one makes it even more flavourful. I've tried Idli, medu vada, sambhar, masala dosa, plain dosa here and trust me you won't find such tasty south indian food with affordable price here in Doon! I highly recommend this place to all the foodies :)) happy eating!
