Open Rice Kitchen

This place treats their most loyal customers like garbage and their service (and food) quality collapses when they are even remotely busy. Their food may be okay and even good when the place is deserted, but they still don’t know how to handle orders when busy or late at night, and they refuse to retire their hours to normal even now. Also, their staff used to be a lot nicer, whereas now they use even slight misunderstandings as an excuse to mistreat customers. It’s a shame too because I was their most loyal customer, especially during the height of the pandemic. Honestly, boycott the place until they agree to change their ways.

The food is tasty, and Open Rice is very affordable. You get lots of bang for your buck, and they have the most inexpensive boba drinks around. The only negative aspects: the AC is never on, and the last time I went, an employee wasn't wearing a mask properly. Otherwise, I'd give them a higher ranking. One other thing: some food can be spicy without warning. I like it, but my kids have found it a little too much. Still, if you're looking for tasty food without spending a lot, this is the place to go.
