Shane & I wanted to write a review. We got married at Skylark on the 14th Octobed 2023 and I can honestly say we had the best day of our lives. The day was just absolutely perfect. Sam has been amazing all the way through of us planning our wedding, nothing was ever too much. Jake was amazing on the day, he went through everything with us brilliantly he even had to keep reminding me it was my day and everything was my decision! Dave's music was absolutely fantastic! Had everyone up dancing all night. You all went above and beyond for us we are truely grateful for making our day absolutely perfect. All our guests loved the venue, absolutely stunning and one of the best weddings they have ever been too. From the bottom of out hearts, thank you for giving us the perfect day. We celebrated our wedding at Skylark only yesterday. Sam,Dave and her team worked incredibly hard in the heat yesterday to make our experience so magical. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the entire ambience was magical. 100 guests fed and watered, the service was flawless throughout. Our special guests arriving aka the cheeky girls, were directed through the venue unnoticed and into the changing room, prior to then being on the stage..What a shock...... The only thing I think you should be made aware of as you are using them as a hotel with your packages is the Staverton Golf Hotel. It started Friday in the restaurant, 7 of us eating in the restaurant no starters, 2 of the 5 mains ordered were incorrect and had to wait an additional 20 minutes. In the meantime 20 odd men arrived, had there starters and mains out, we had ordered dessert whilst they were eating and there dessert come out before any sign of ours. We cancelled these as ours meals had already taken 2 hours to complete Then on return to the venue, 6 guests had travelled down from Lincolnshire and they booked 3 rooms. 1 of which I paid for them to have an early check in so they could get ready for the wedding. The 64 year old lady was advised on return just before midnight that her room would not be available to 00:45, the opposite end of the hotel. Baring in mind they had paid £100 for breakfast they were leaving at 6:00 am as had to be back for work(there choice I accept). However there was no offer of help to take her baggage, no manager on site to raise this with, no apology and no compensation. Thankyou from both of us for making the most stress free day on our most important day of our lives. Would 100% recommend this venue but stay away from the hotel for sure

We chose the Skylark to hold my Grandmother's memorial celebration of her life. Samantha and her team were very professional and extremely helpful from my mother's first telephone conversation to the day of the celebration. Nothing was too much trouble & a special meal was prepared for one of our guests who has specific dietary requirements. All of our guests were very impressed by the afternoon tea & quality of the food. We would definitely hold future celebrations at the Skylark. Thank you to the team from Tracey and all the family.

We could not have asked for more from the whole team at Skylark. From beginning to end, they had everything under control. We always felt that the team knew what they were doing and at no point were we worried or stressed about anything. The day ran smoothly because the whole team were so organised and professional. The venue was stunning and delivered everything we had wanted and more. Sam listened to everything we wanted and delivered on every count, down to the smallest details. About 40 of us descended on Skylark for our Xmas party on 9th December 2022. We attended The Greatest Showman event and everyone had a blast! We enjoyed the food, had great entertainment and the bar service was attentive and speedy! All in all, the ladies had a fantastic time and made some extra special memories together dancing the night away until the end. Can't thank those involved enough for helping make a great Xmas party! We had a really wonderful August wedding day at Skylark Farm. We chose Skylark for its beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere. Sam, Dave and the staff did an excellent job of looking after our guests and coordinating the day. We chose the table carvery option for our wedding breakfast which our guests loved - the meats were cooked beautifully and the vegetables were delicious! For the evening we had a pizza buffet, which was a selection of freshly made pizzas out of the outdoor pizza oven. We would definitely recommend Skylark for your wedding venue!

Sam, Dave and the team have been nothing short of amazing. Our wedding dates and reception were all messed up due to covid. They have accommodated us and really gone above and beyond our expectations. The venue is brilliant with stunning views and very much catered for an excellent special day. Sam is an excellent event manager and just knows her stuff. Really hope you all the best for the future and will be in touch even if it’s a little hello. :)

We were lucky enough to get married here a few weeks ago and had the most perfect day. Sam, Dave and Jake are fantastic at what they do and make you feel at ease through the whole planning process and throughout the actual wedding day. The venue is simply stunning and the food is amazing. Our wedding day was faultless from all the big details right down to the small details like Jake sorting my veil just before I walked in. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their clients is obvious. They want you to have the best day and we did! We have had so many wonderful comments from our guests on what a wonderful venue it is and how amazing the food was. Popped in to Skylark cafè this morning. This a wonderful family run establishment with awesome surroundings. The food is great with really good prices. The staff are friendly and make you feel like family. Sam the owner is so friendly warm and welcoming. Great place to have a wedding. Just to add, plenty of space to social distance. Would definitely recommend 😀
