The food was delicious, the wine very good and the service impeccable. Meals here have been hit and miss over the years, but the staff have upped their game. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

First visit. Really good food. Excellent staff especially the guy with the ginger beard. He was really great and helpful. Lovely menu and selection of food and good wine. Positive experience. The skewers were very tasty and there were meals to suit all appetites.

For my sins I stayed in a nearby budget hotel chain around a work trip, and thought this pub might be worth a 20 minute walk. Very busy so it's definitely advisable to book ahead, but the small bar area was comfortable and food was served quickly. Very fast and friendly service, great ambiance, lots of car parking if needed and outdoor seating too.

Mr friend and I like to come here as it's a very convenient location to meet, and also we had a voucher this time. It was nice to see vegan options and dairy alternatives, although I am sure you used to have more variety. The portion of vegan custard was extremely small - less than half a very small jug and as a result the crumble was a bit dry. My friend really enjoyed her pork belly and cheese board. Variety of alcoholic and soft drinks very good. Lovely staff.

I visited here with my family last Sunday and we were greeted by all of the lovely staff. The food is absolutely amazing, best Sunday roast I've ever had (even puts my gran's to shame 🤫). The servers couldn't have been more helpful; even went above and beyond in cleaning my little girls coverall bib, which she covered with the fantastic food. Will definitely be back soon! 10/10 ⭐

Went Father’s Day without being booked we where made welcome and service was excellent. Food was probably one of the best Sunday dinners I’ve ever had.

My wife and I and our 4yr old went for Xmas dinner at the Old Farmhouse. It was absolutely fantastic. All the food was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. Every single person we spoke to was brilliant, particularly Kate and another lady who's name we didnt get. They were exceptional and the little things they did to help us entertain our 4 yr old made all the difference. I'm pretty confident we'll be back for xmas dinner in 2023 too.
