Pizza Plus

A good pizza place with fast service. What sets this one apart is the outstanding customer service we received when we went in. It was a Saturday and they have a great deal on pizzas. The cashier went above and beyond in explaining the options and working with us to get exactly what we wanted. She was amazing. When in Damascus this is now on our list of stops if we are looking for pizza, sandwiches, not only because it's good but because the customer service is amazing.

I don’t understand why so many people are leaving bad reviews for this place. I’ve ordered from the Damascus location on several occasions and the service has always been great, my order has always been right, and the staff are friendly. The pizza, in my opinion, is delicious. Is it wood fired, artisan style pizza? No, but they don’t advertise it as such. If you’re wanting a solid, tasty pan pizza comparable to pizza found at chain joints, then look no further.

I was genuinely impressed by the service I received. I ordered a special (a large pepperoni with extra cheese) and the salad bar. The server brought the pizza to the table, and after I started eating, I realized that it did not have extra cheese (which was my reason for ordering the special). The server was very quick to admit that, no, there wasn't extra cheese on it. She apologized and offered to remake the pizza right away. The situation was handled very professionally and quickly on their end, and I soon had the correct pizza. The staff was incredibly friendly. The salad bar was fresh. The prices were reasonable. The dining room was clean. I'd be happy to eat there again when in that area.

Why does anyone eat here anymore? I cant figure it out, I mean compared to all the other pizza places around they rank the lowest in every category. - The ingredients are lower quality - Subjectively no flavor especially with the pizza and sauces - Delivery times are twice as long and no delivery driver is common - Health and Sanitation scores are lower - The website is cheap and not as frequently updated or maintained - Online ordering is not reliable or consistent - Staff training seems to be lacking - Customer service is inconsistent Even with all these cons it would still make since for some if at least the pricing was better....but it isnt. In fact almost every item on their menu currently is more expensive than the other guys. I am all for supporting our local small businesses and would like to see them do something about some of these issues or at least offer competitive pricing but I have a feeling that they wont change a thing and will eventually go out of business. I guess we will see if they even respond to this review.
