Huddle House

Went there for Breakfast today not expecting much of a chain diner. Turned out I was pleasantly surprised Service was pleasant and very fast Food was excellent. Got the MVP breakfast Eggs were cooked correctly Hash browns were crisp Grits came with a lot of butter Biscuit and gravy - probably one of the best gravies I have had Will be back

Quite the disappointment. Restaurant was clean and we were greeted as we entered. Thank goodness for the helper "Amber"! So sweet, attentive and polite! Our waitress had a coupke of tables; but when our simple order of a couple of waffles bacon and sausage arrived, it was cold to the touch, butter unmelted. We brought this to the attention of the waitress and she defended the cold food!!! We basically had to insist they redo the waffles! She continued to defend the cold food, ".. the butter never melts! " , as we were leaving the restaurant. Left here feeling defeated but full.

Usually Huddle House is a go to for a quick breakfast. Not this one! Now we know why their parking lot is mostly empty. Well over priced. And the food Lets just say Not even close to their menu pics nor is the quality. We watched 3 tables get served their food before ours. When I asked our waitress what was going on she said our order ticket was misplaced. I wonder why she didn't question the cook when 3 orders were served before us. And than charged me .59 for rye toast with my 2 eggs and hash browns for 5.69. Will never go back.

I was welcomed I quite warmly then immediately given the impression they were bored and wanted me in and out as soon as possible. Even during tipping the waitress was clearly exhausted didn't care, this was the beginning of the shift by the way. Pros: good food, fast service, acceptable price. Cons: rude and unenthusiastic staff. If only go there to order out from now on. Never to eat there

This was by far the worst experience at Huddle House. They were out of country fried steak and didn't mention it until we tried to order it. Then we ordered other items.. one containing turkey sausage, they were out of that too. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, but the biscuit couldn't be cut through. My husband decided he would not be eating. As I continued my meal I cut into my chopped steak and found a hair. The person that came to the table to apologize told us that she would make something else for him, since they had already charged us for the biscuits and gravy, when we said no she told us she wasn't the one that cooked our meal to begin with, and I'm thinking "thank heaven". Her nails we fake and really long... I thought that was against food handlers policy, but I guess not. When we told her for the third time we did not want anything else, they finally removed the item from the bill. The waitress was nice enough, but overall a really bad experience.

Newly renovated and the new staff is GREAT! Casy and the shift manager handled another customer who complained about everything like true professionals. They we're apologetic and tried the best to cater to them but they were just rude and wanted a free meal. There never lost their cool and never even said a word after the customer left. I would have told the customer off that is how rude the customer was. But the place just recently opened after being closed for a couple years. The new owners have a great staff and that speaks volume. The place was never this busy before. Well done guys.... Well done :)
