This place feels like where the locals gathered in mealtime and have good chats about everything or the politics on their TV. Nice vibe. Chef Kevin is friendly so as his customers. Food feels homemade. I like the jerk chicken, and the spicy carrots that was cooked with bonnet pepper. My friend liked their curry goat.

Absolutely incredible! Likely to be my "go to" spot in South London for Caribbean food. Can eat-in or takeaway. As other commenters noted, the portions are large and the menu prices are small. Please note that the menu prices in the photos shown are not up-to-date but it's just a 50p price difference. We had the goat curry with rice and peas, stew chicken with hard food, and then lamb and chicken patties. Curry and stew had tons of meat, patties did as well. Perhaps the best part of visiting this place was the proprietor. We forgot to get his name but he's the kindest guy ever and today service-oriented. He cooks himself and the restaurant and kitchen area are clean. It was comfortable to eat in here and it definitely had a positive neighborhood vibe. We will definitely be back!!! Tastes better than some food we had on vacation in Jamaica over a decade ago. Totally deserves all the positive reviews!

Nice food. Staff were very friendly when my partner and I visited there for the first time. We sat down in pleasant surroundings. The only knock back was that we found a part of a bottle lid in the food. The manager (I m not sure) came over and I believe would have replaced the meal but partner said it was ok. So from that I do think they are professional in how they address issues raised by their customers. I recommend the fruit drink very scrumptious.
