Had a lovely Monday night there for my uncles funeral. Very enjoyable evening, beer was good, they have pool and darts, the clientele were superb people!

Use to go there 50 years ago when I lived in Tailgate. Great to see it still there (as well as the Fish n Chip shop). Changed a little, but brought back memories.
New town pub, large and spacious. Uninspired beer options. It's not my sort of drinking venue. However, I went for a private function and this large room off of the main bar (though double doors) was both clean and totally suitable for larger functions. It has its own bar and toilets, including an accessible one.
Very nice beer and 3 pool tables. The bartender is always very kind.
Reasonable prices .3 pool tables .Function room . Large garden . Friendly staff . Many Tv's for Sport . Friendly local for everyone .
This pub is a soulless parody of what it used to be.
