Log Cabin Inn

We came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were happy to be seated immediately. I ordered the Early Riser with a side of pancakes and my husband had the cabin special. We both thought our food was great. It was a nice change from chain restaurants and the prices were very reasonable. My only complaint was with the service....our server was very friendly but she was never around. We had to flag someone down for refills, to get our check, and then to actually take our card to pay our check.

Great little local restaurant! Just about everyone who has been in the Indrpendence area for a few years knows "The Cabin". Good food, friendly staff. Always a conundrum when their specials are fried chicken livers and meatloaf on the same day! Their potato skins are some of the best I've had and their chicken quesadilla is enough for 2 meals for me. Never had a bad meal there.

We had a party of 11 for my mother in laws birthday because she loves Liver and onions which is hard to find in a restaurant. She loved it and said she would go again for them. We had great food and great service. From the second we walked in everyone was very attentive and kind. We arrived 30 min before our reservation time and our table wasn’t ready because of another large group that was ahead of us. Everyone apologized more than once and accommodated us as quick as they could. Our server, Tina, was so kind and we had quick service and we never ran out of drinks. That is very impressive for 11 people. Great food with a lot of variety for everyone. We will definitely go back.
