Denny's

We got the friendliest and efficient waitress named Katie at Coventry Denny's. She gave us hot water when asked for, she took our orders and gave good suggestions, offered what topping could be on the side, handled all special requests without any error. Offered for hot water refill even before I could ask for. I totally forgot about kids eat free on Tuesday, and she included that in the bill even before asking. It was a perfect New year's Eve. Flawless service.

Good food, good atmosphere. Great for a relatively cheap meal, you can get things from the 2 4 6 8 menu or you can get things from the regular menu. The amount you spend really depends on the meal, but nothing is over $18 for meals. I like to come here for a casual breakfast or lunch as it usually isn't too long of a wait and serves are very tentative.

Just went to Denny's. Had their pancakes. Thought they were great! They changed the recipe and it was really delicious. They also have great sugar free syrup. Our waitress, Michelle was excellent even though the place was packed. Not usually a fan of Denny's, but you have to try the pancakes. They also have flavored creamers for their coffee. Nice touch!

Had a crazy idea top take the kids out for breakfast at 3am. We haven't dobut this in quiet some time. Honestly have no complaints. We were quickly seated, waitress came right over. Drinks came shortly after. Food order was placed at that time, came to the table not even 10 minutes. 2 adults 2 children. My husband's late was huge for only $5.99 the grand slam I believe it's called. I ordered the veggie skillet which was amazing. Daughter had the salted caramel pancake just pancake not the meal. My son had mac n cheese of course lol. He isn't a breakfast person to say the least. Bill was under $37, without tip. Was a great fun adventure at 3am. Kids can't wait to go back!

This has been our staple go to Dennys for some time. And the reason for that is the seasoned wait staff. They are personable, down to earth, and so attentive. When you become a regular they will pull up a seat and have a friendly chat, ask how things are and just leave you with a good impression. The food is always cooked right and if they do happen to forget something they are right into of fixing it. It is clean and always friendly!

If you know what you're getting into (homestyle American food, family-friendly atmosphere, open 'round the clock), Denny's is awesome. Especially this one. I've been here a few dozen times over the years, because I've never had a bad experience here. This one is cleaner, has faster & friendlier service, and is usually less crowded than the other Denny's in the state. If you're around here late night, they'll take good care of you.

I've seen very mixed reviews about here, but I had a pleasant experience on a busy Saturday morning with my family. My service was really good I had a super polite waitress names Stephanie, I told the General Manager how nice and professional I thought she was and he seemed indifferent to the praise. Maybe the dip in service and some of the poor reviews are a contribution to this? Good waitresses leave and the lackluster ones stay?
