Their meats are sensational, service is exceptional and atmosphere is surprisingly cool. I went to order several steaks for the Holidays and wound up buying many extras. There was a family inside sucking down a few of the local brews. Highly recommend this place (and I am very picky).

Amazing place! Staff was incredibly nice, and excited to talk about what your cooking/recipes. Clean, friendly, and had a large selection of cuts. Got a full flank of salmon, it was amazing. Love the crab cakes!! Bought a few by accident, so glad I did! Can't wait to go back.

Butcher Block offers subs and quite a number of unique offerings. My companion & I split a Route 12 sub, which features turkey, havarti, lettuce, tomato, served with mayo on a tasty roll. We took it to nearby OBX beach. Yum.

I can't get enough of the absolutely perfect subs, great beer selection on tap too. I ordered three times last week and stopped in for more to take home too! Next time I promise to branch out and try the gorgeous steaks. Thank you, I love your shop!

Great local spot for quality cuts of meat, AND I can drink a pint while I shop. The best part is that they invested a few bucks in a decent TV and they provide access to Sports Channels!!! I'll definitely spend more time posted up with my friends now. A little surprised it took so long.

Ok....so keep in mind my husband and I were born and raised in Pa Dutch country and moved to another area where it was never difficult to find a high quality steak..or any good meat for that matter. We moved to the OBX a year ago, and although the seafood is fresh and amazing (something we couldn't get back in Pa), we have not been able to find a steak that has come close to what we are used to. We have found plenty in the OBX which are good, but not up to what we are accustomed to. (Ok,maybe we are steak snobs). Anyway, we were visiting Corolla and we decided to stop by the Butcher Block. The steaks look pretty good so we thought we would try the ribeyes. After buying two steaks, taking them home, prepping them and grilling them to medium rare, they tasted AMAZING! It took us a year, but we finally found a place where the steaks taste like home! The marbling, tenderness, and flavor actually can rival one of our favorite butchers back in Pa!

Best place! The Italian Stallion has become my favorite but all of the sandwiches are great. It’s a great one stop for lunch on the go and to grab something to cook for dinner. Great beers and growlers too. Love this place!!!
