What can I say 2 Sunday dinners £13.50.
Was going to suggest that they made their money up on the drinks. But when clutz boy (me) sent his flying (barely missing the wife, seriously it was like a Norman Wisdom movie). Was given another drink despite my accepting full responsibility and offering to pay.
Service was amazing, atmosphere welcoming and quality for the budget excellent.

After a previous bad experience we decided to try again. Jonathan (behind the bar), Nicole & Tom (managers) made the experience perfect. The service given was exemplary and the food was perfect. Highly recommend the new customer service ethos and cooking skills in the kitchen. We will return

Nice food, we had a smokey Jack burger on buy one get one free offer on Fridays, which is a good deal.
We were able to order in advance, that is a huge advantage, and saves you time if you have limited time.

Johnathan O'Brien was absolutely spot on from start to finish. Very welcoming had a laugh and also very knowledgeable with what's going on etc ( menu / offers)
Johnathan was very friendly and very sociable to every customer going no matter what the age.
Would definitely recommend the BBQ chicken etc.

Great atmosphere and okay food for great prices. Great for a large family as there's plenty big tables. Enjoyed the new hungry homer pudding a little more then I enjoyed the main.

7 of us went for a meal this evening and I was very impressed. I haven’t been for a while as I felt it wasn’t up to scratch a while ago but after today I will definitely go back. The service was great, everyone really friendly and the food was amazing. The chicken wings to start was a big hit and my chicken skewers were cooked to perfection 👌 really enjoyed it and would recommend. Thank you all

Had a meal on the 1st July 23 for over 30 of us to celebrate my parents 60th Wedding anniversary. The staff were amazing. For such a large party the food was delicious, the service was really good and we all had a fantastic time

Was very surprised (in a good way) by the Chequered Flag. It is much larger on the inside with plenty of space to sit and relax. Drinks were good and for an Irishman abroad, the Guinness was completely up to par. Myself and two colleagues decided to chance the food, and wow. Fairly priced with absolutely massive portions and completely delicious - who could find fault with that! Based on this experience, not only would I come back again, I would highly recommend too!

This place is a quite, kid, and pet friendly pub with a warm, and friendly staff, they have lot’s of ice cold beer on tap, with dozens of beer and spirits to pick from. They have pipping hot meals to select from on a fun and classical British menu.
During my visit, Alicia made sure I had all I need and went out of her way to make sure I was all set to navigate the menu. She was an excellent host and super patient for me. It was a fun and traditional British dinner experience that I’ll take with me back to the states.
