Cafe 501

This is a great undiscovered restaurant. We went to Cafe 501 on a Friday night and it was not very busy at all which is a shame. The location works against it a little as it is not located on any main strip, but seeking out this place is well worth it. The staff is really nice and knowledgeable. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. He also made an awesome Lemon Drop Martini for my wife. The Fried Pickles are FANTASTIC!! They cut the pickles in sticks similar to french fries which just makes absolute sense once you try them. Very good. I enjoyed my Cobb Salad and my wife had a chicken dish (can't remember name). Both were really good. The menu seems to highlight burgers and wraps, but we wanted to try other things. Really glad we did. We do plan to return and try the burgers soon. The Titan with the fried egg looked really good. I think the location lends this place to be considered a lunch restaurant, but we enjoyed our date night at this location. I'd recommend it.

Holy moly -- have been wanting to try this local restaurant for some time now. Absolutely was not disappointed! Our server, Kent was a star. He was quick to serve, attentive and knew about everything on the menu. The food was phenomenal. The salsa was so fresh. My pizza was the perfect combination of ingredients, and they kindly made it well done for me. Our salad was perfectly dressed and fresh, as well. Will be back to try other things on the menu!
