I stopped in for a quick bite while in The Woodlands, Texas . This is a fast/causal regional chain restaurant. This location was not crowded. The wait was not very long and the staff was friendly . We ordered a chicken fajita cabana bowl 🥣 which is served in crispy shell as well as chicken 🍗 soft tacos 🌮 🌯

As long as I live I will NEVER eat here again. Steak in the quesadilla was old and the consistency of beef jerky. Black beans were crunchy and overloaded with raw onions. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The salsa cups were filled enough to barely cover the bottom. I know this is fast food but come on, take a little pride.

Bean and cheese tacos are cold. Peco is NOT FRESH, they didn’t have anyone to answer when I pulled up to order. And then I ordered two tacos and they only gave me one peco. Please train your staff. And they gave me a HALF full peco.🤦♀️
Added later: I just went again and won’t be returning. Their bean and cheese tacos are cold and the beans aren’t fully mashed like whole beans, cold and almost crunch. NASTY do better!

Soooo much better than the last several times I have water there. I'm a long time fan of Taco C., way back to the early 90's so I know what's good and what's not. This restaurant has had it's ups and downs and and now it's up, IMHO. The person taking our order actually smiled at me! Food was very good and service was fast and the rather big order was correct! I recommend!

Ordered 3 breakfast tacos(mexicana/Potato egg/chorizo egg cheese) Took 30 minutes to receive my order and the amount of filling in the taco was disappointing. Maybe an ounce of filling and that's being generous.
Go to a Taco Lorado or a Taco Bell for breakfast if you are actually hungry, because this place ain't giving you much for what they charge

03/19/20 2:45 PM. Ordered a chicken Cabana Bowl, and a number 3, with my son and it made us sick the rest of the day and through the night. It made Montezuma's revenge look good. The store at this time was filthy. The front counter, floors and many other items seem like they never get cleaned properly so we ate outside. The staff were patient, friendly and the service was prompt. The business was very slow in the time.

We ordered a Chicken Fajita Quesadilla. It is always tasty and delicious. A large one can fill you up enough.
We also got some Chicken Flautas they were good and crunchy. The nacho cheese is really good, tasty and, a little spicy for my taste.
The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Absolutely the worst Taco Cabana I've ever been to! We waited 20 minutes to get our food. When we got back to the hotel we realized our enchiladas had been heated up so much they were hard as a rock and couldn't even be cut with a knife. My daughter and I ate dry, hard rice and beans for dinner. Please don't go here, there's a better one down the road!
