Ihop

This isn't my usual location, and we stopped to have breakfast during a long trip back to Houston and I found it extremely annoying how they didn't put us on the wait list after they took down our name and number. They told us 5 to 10 minute wait and yet never called out names. Many people that came in behind us went in front of us until my boyfriend went and said something. They then immediately sat us, but I was confused... What happened? The food at this location was good, and the server was pleasant enough, but I was just annoyed about the seating issue.

One of my best friends and I had a craving for breakfast. We decided to stop by IHOP, worse decision ever. Our shoes were actually sticking to the restaurants floor. We were seated at a table that was half cleaned. Luckily we carry sanitizing wipes, we used them to give the table and chairs a proper cleaning. At this point I was ready to go, but my friend wanted to remain and eat there. We ordered, both of our food came out cold and not too tasty. Lastly, we waited over 10 minutes for syrup. (No they weren't busy at all) I was over the entire restaurant and just got a to go box, didn't eat the food. We left. I don't recommend this location.

I ordered two different items. Buttermilk pancakes and the biscuit and gravy with hash browns and scrambled eggs. I also got a sweet tea. My wait time wasn’t too long to get seated. It did take a good while for my server to get to me. She kept checking to see if I was ready to order. Once I did order though she didn’t come to check if the food was alright or if I needed a refill. The sweet tea was drinkable but was not the best it could have been. The buttermilk biscuit was fluffy. It had a nice flavor to it. The sausage links were nothing to be proud of. They were just alright. And the hash browns were so hard in some areas they hurt my teeth to chew on. It took close to half an hour for my drink to get refilled.

I went to this Conroe ihop this morning. The server started off great by coming to get drink order right away but after that things were no good. She brought our cups of coffee and got our order. I noticed other tables got a pot of coffee but we only got a cup and I usually drink at least 3 cups when I go to IHOP. Our food didn’t take that long and someone other than our server brought out the food (looked like the manager since she was in regular clothes). This manager was not friendly and could see my coffee cup was empty but didn’t bother to fill it. The server put in my order wrong. I didn’t get sausage but got bacon instead, I hate bacon with a passion. I didn’t want to wait so didn’t say anything when the server briefly came by. She never came back to fill my coffee cup and we never saw her again until she dropped off the check and we had to wait forever for that. She never asked us how things were or anything. When she brought back my change I received 3 $5.00 bills and 2 ones. She shorted me 5.00 and the .11 cents so I only left her 2 dollars but should have not left a penny since she kept $5 for herself and took it upon herself to keep the change part. Worst service and cannot count. Will never return to this ihop again, lesson learned

Went here this morning for breakfast. Was seated quickly, and food was good is the only reason they got 1 star. We had to ask 4 times then finally get up to find someone to get us syrup and condiments. No one ever walked by to see if we needed more drinks or anything. Service is terrible. We sat and watched several of the wait staff was just standing around just looking at people like everyone was invisible... I had to go to the hostess to get what we needed. Very dissatisfied.

Great servers, horrible kitchen, manager missing. I had a very pleasant service by the waiters, they were kind and courteous. The kitchen (which is the base of every restaurant) delivered the food wrong, awful and late. Ordered gluten free and they brought with gluten. When they finally brought the correct gluten free waffles, they were all scrambled due to IT getting stucked in the machine, they brought it all like that, horrible presentation. I ordered waffles and chicken and somehow they brought pancakes and chicken, it's even common sense. My father's hash browns were undercooked. Then they notified me they could only take cash payments. By now, I believe it would be a good time for the manager to arrive and put some order. But no where to be seen or be heard. I did not lashed out against the manager or highest person because my father asked me not to. I am definitely not going back there ever again, I still love my Ihop, but not this place who offered a terrible experience and also had to pay expensive for the poor quality they offered.

Good food,but don't attend this Denny's If your afraid of clowns because there's a bus boy there that wears a clown know and stares quietly at you while you eat 😂 I'm fine with it but my kid is afraid of clowns so she couldn't focus on eating... Waste of $10. But the clown has the best of intentions I'm sure...I just don't know if it's the proper setting for a clown when the phobia of clowns is so common....maybe just stick to birthday parties and let people eat in peace?
