Best fish and chips I have had for ages

Loved this place. Not open for very long but when it is make sure to visit. Definitely one of my favourite chippys and great prices.

Called in for chips when passing today.
No parking so packed on the road outside, service was a bit slower then hoped but chips scored 10 out of 10 .

Really lovely the people who work here and the food was delicious too, not greasy. Kids and us enjoyed it all. Please remember it is Cash Only when you get there. (B.P. garage has a postiffice which does free cash withdrawals)

Great little fish and chip shop on the edge of the village ran by a friendly husband and wife. The portions are just right and the curry is sweet just the way I like it, 6.50 for fish and chips is also a great price for the lake district.

went on a Saturday evening. had fish and chips. cheese burger and chips. chicken burger and chips. freshly cooked. piping hot. great service. would definitely go again. quality of food was great. size of portions great. waited 15 minutes. in covid times and extra precautions we found this very reasonable.
