Alas, another empty pizza box. What do you think that means? Such a gooooood pizza (I went Andy Griffith there on ya). Tremendous service, cold beer, really good food. If you’re reading this the 🐓 Parm sandwich is also out of this world. Especially during the Monday Lunch Special. Nothing but Goodness 👍….

I'm from out of town and saw they serve chicken tenders (( autistic mind you with a preference towards finger food. )) so I came in and I'd say overall it's a small hole in the wall bar that offered acceptable food for the price. The coke was flat at first but they went in the back to correct it and the 2nd cup was drinkable, tenders were the star if I was a local I'd eat it over other national options like arbys. The fries were not acceptable. They tasted like pen station which I am not a fan of. The waiters were nice and quick to assist overall I spent about 30 mins inside. If your looking for a quiet place I'd explore elsewhere or come near the evening towards 9pm (( they close the kitchen down then. )) I did give a 4 star due to the waitress did take off the fries as I would not eat anymore then I needed to as they were not desired. For what I got would I come back in... sure for the tenders however if I was a local and knew of better spots with overall better fries (( need a whole meal to get a 5 from me. )) I'd attempt other spots. It's worth a try your mileage may vary.

If you go to Spats expecting a quiet classy experience you are going to be disappointed. This is a noisy sports bar restaurant with a crowd that consumes generous quantities of alcohol and serves up loud language that would greatly anger Mother Superior. Servers are a bit scarce but ours did an adequate job. The food is always very good. Unfortunately they have started a new practice of tacking on a 4% fee to your bill if you pay by credit card. I call foul on that! Who uses cash today?

We were going to adjacent restaurant which was closed on Sunday. We were up visiting grandchildren who recently moved to Mentor. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. My wife rarely comments on her food, she said her wings were excellent. My spaghetti was delicious. The young adults we were treating enjoyed their dinners. I would suggest you try it. Our waitress was very cordial.
