Think there’s a new owner, food was absolutely delicious, had the steak sandwich. Drinks were also well priced for near London, will definitely be coming back. Nice garden on front and back

Good location right on the highstreet. Limited parking behind a barrier, which was quite frustrating. There wasn't enough space but we got stuck inside the carpark, as you need a token to exit! Had to go inside to get a token from the bar before being able to leave. Was able to park on the road nearby. Atmosphere was nice, and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately the service was very very slow. We had to wait more than 1hr for our food to arrive which is pretty unacceptable. We were made aware there would be a delay, due to a large party ordering before us, but it still took way too long. They offered to give us a complementary round of drinks, which was appreciated, but the experience was tainted. When the food did arrive, the portions were massive and the food was tasty. It was reasonably priced, so on balance we'd be likely to return

Great find! Stopped for lunch. Staff friendly. Service was excellent food arrived promptly. Recommend the Bear burger.

Very friendly and accommodating, we'd booked a table outside and the weather turned from blistering heat to rain (typical summer) and moving to a protected table outside was no issue. Food and service both great. Would definitely recommend it's a hidden gem.

Enjoyed a Roast on Sunday, best I’ve had for a really long time, good portions, all rich with flavour. This is the place for a decent meal! Couldn’t recommend enough, I’ll be back!

Held my friends Hen do at The Bear in their beautiful function room. Really lovely space, just the right size for a party. The staff were very helpful with planning it and making changes to the buffet we had and were incredibly friendly and accommodating on the day. Ended up sitting in the beer garden after which was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Love this pub - Team are always so friendly and service always excellent. Would love a couple more items on the menu but thats just me :-)

Lovely place, great selection of drinks and food. They do Sunday roast. I enjoy the burger, juice, and tasty. They have a beer garden at the back . Great service! Burger plus a beer £22!!
