Poki Poutine

The service is robotic and slow. I had the hogtown poutine and there was way too little cheese and way too much gravy. The menu states that they serve fresh ingredients but it's obvious that a lot of the toppings come from a bag or can. The lemonade was refreshing but I winced at the $4.00 price. All said and done, I won't be back.

First time I had poutine in my life. I was honestly a bit worried about trying it a first, but once they brought our food out, all my fears were long gone. If you like carne asada or chili cheese fries, definitely give this place a try. The drinks they offer are splendid as well. I will return here again soon.

Poki was fresh, which is the only nice thing I can think of. The poki was not even enough to fill the small bowl they used even though we ordered a medium (two more scoops of protein wouldn't have mattered). The poutine tasted okay, but if you're going to charge me $12, then it should at least be fresh ingredients. The mushrooms were obviously from a can. Gravy was salty and from a packet. Fries were from the freezer. The only things that seemed fresh were the onions. Definitely not worth nearly $30 we paid.

We waited about 25 minutes just to get our food, there is no orderly line and it seems to try and work like Pokiland. The issue is that there’s only one person manning all the food. The avocado was clearly not fresh at all, and there isn’t much of a selection. Going to try this place one more time, but it really wasn’t worrh my time.
