Charley's Philly Steaks

I only leave reviews when I feel the need too. I went today with a friend and let me tell you. There were 2 gentlemen cooking and a woman as the cashier, all 3 of them were super welcoming made sure my sandwich was fire, and the mixed lemonade was amazing. One of the guys even helped an old lady to the restroom. They had a good vibe going on in the restaurant and you can tell they work well together. Seriously great group of employees.

We usually love this place but this visit wasn’t very great. We ordered through the mobile app and got there slightly after it said the order would be done. Unfortunately the order wasn’t done and we waited another 30min for our order. Not very cool :( The cheesesteaks were okay, but not how they normally are. The bread was untoasted, the peppers, onion and mushrooms were barely grilled and there was barely any mayo on our sandwich. The ultimate fries were great, although the bacon was literally a slice on top since whoever cut it didn’t cut it all the way.

Went in 10 after 7, I was told I could not eat inside because they needed to start cleaning up. I had to eat outside at 63 degrees. It was cold and uncomfortable. At 7:35 they decided to lock the doors. At that time I was still eating. I couldn't get a refill on my drink, plus I didn't have any access to the restroom. It was a bad experience overall. At least the food was good. But I'm not sure if I would come back anytime soon.

Alexandria and Brian were consummate professionals and just as empathetic. I made a major mistake with my order, I owned it but was allergic to the #1 chicken steak, but they took care of me anyway. It is people like them that puts Charley's in a good corporate light. And... my #7 was sooo good. I hope corporate acknowledges employees like Alexandria and Brian.

Charley's does follow safety protocols. They have decent sandwhiches. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with cheddar cheese. It came with little mayo then cold lettuce tomatoes and pickles. Was an interesting add that i politely tossed to the side. I ordered the jalapeno fries. It comes with nacho cheese sauce, ranch and jalapenos. They were okay. They serve coca cola products. There is a Jamba Juice, Which Which sandwich, Panera Bread and Chicken Shack all next to it so there are options for all eaters if several options are needed. They offer outdoor seating. The sandwich is okay and fries are thicker soft fries with nacho cheese. Not bad.

Went there to eat with my friend Elizabeth. I bought a cheesesteak, once we finished it we got thirsty and (we had little amount of money left due to us spending it at the mall) and when i came up to purchase a lemonade i was a dollar short and they ended up giving me an employee discount. I was extremely greatful, I will definitely be eating there again!
