The wait staff was friendly and attentive.The food was really good. The amount you get for the money is also adequate.
Overall just a good experience, the salsa you get with the chips stands out. You could tell it was fresh and had a little more spice than a lot of other Mexican restaurants.

If you are looking for very good Mexican food in Des Moines, this is the place! Nice staff too. I had a enchilada and tamale with rice, beans and coleslaw.

First off, the free bean dip, salsa, and warm chips were delicious! Also $2.99 margheritas that happen to also taste great- Amazing! My partner and I stopped at Mi Mexico for lunch. In addition to the items listed above, we shared an order of chicken mole. Portion was great for sharing and as a mole leaned more toward peanut with a hint of chocolate. I recommend it! Ample seating, staff wearing masks, and clean bathrooms all contributed to a safe and enjoyable lunch.

Inexpensive margaritas that are pretty darn good. They serve their chips with warm bean dip and salsa which was unexpected and fun. We sat at the bar and they changed the TV to the sports we wanted. They fresh squeeze the lime juice as well

Tried this location due to it being near my hotel. Very good. Hard to make a choice. Bartender assisted me with menu and selections. Nice the served Pacific cerveza as well. Full bar. Give them a try.

Their classic, specialty margarita (served in a cocktail shaker) is seriously the best margarita I’ve ever had! Food is great too.
