El Tapatio

Service was great! Food wasn't as good as usual, not bad, just not the same. Lunch time shift cooks different and better. Ground beef and great flavor! This time, we were there for late afternoon/evening food. Tacos and enchiladas had shredded beef instead. Not as good. We'll be back, but only for early afternoon.

We come out here often because we they have vegetarian options for us. The gentleman we always have is amazing and pleasant. However our luck with the woman waitress, hasn't be pleasant. Extremely rude. So we began requesting the gentleman to wait on us. Tonight he wasnt here. We has her, well her and another gentleman we never seen. She was annoyed we weren't ready to order, so she just let us sit there. The other gentleman got our order and drinks. Another table sat, she got their drinks and we still hadn't had ours. She slams our food down. Both wrong. Mine taken back. Later discovered my hubs was wrong too. She was annoyed by this as well. Waiter said kitchen knew and were messing with him. So they intentionally added something my husband is allergic to. She never apologized. If you go to eat here and you have her. Leave.

We went for dinner on Sunday April April10th. And when we walked in the food smelled really good was hoping that it was going to be really good but there was nowhere on the menu that it specified that they're tacos or enchiladas were made with ground beef. Menu just said beef. So imagine our shock when we found ground beef as the filling for Mexican food. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

So disappointed usually it is really good.. found a bone in my paella.. waitress acted like she was annoyed we were even there. Didn' t get our cheese sauce, never checked on us to see if we needed anything. Didn't have silverware to even eat for 5 minutes. Charged for sauce and told her about and she added instead of subtracted it. I walked away and didn't find out about the cheese sauce she added to the bill until my husband told me Happy Anniversary to. Us.

Everything was up to par except one thing... My son pulled his wallet out only to prove he was 23 for his margarita. We eat get to dollar general by our house and he realizes he doesn't have his wallet. So we turn around and begin to head back to restaurant. (From Princeton) I have him call to let them know he'd left his wallet..but the man who cleaned our table after we had left swore there was no wallet we get back to the restaurant anyways and my son goes in only to be disappointed that indeed they still claim there wasn't a wallet. We make police report and go home.well at 11pm that night he gets a notice from well Fargo that his credit card was tryn to be used at dollar general for over 500 bucks. So the busser/waiter there on 4/30/2022 around 2pm took my son's wallet. Sir your going to jail

They say on the menu sauteed onions, but give you raw onions , and act like they don't know what your talking about, rice has no taste, the beans are watered down, have had bad experience several times, but will probably not go back, or would I recommend this place to anyone. I don't think they even deserve one star...
