Nice place, great view while dining. We had the prime rib, it was delicious! The only downside is that all the sides are ala cart, I'd prefer sides to be included with my meal. Recommend making reservations, they seemed to be pretty busy.

Really great food and service! This was a nice experience while visiting Clinton, Iowa. The food was fresh, tasty, and hot! The onion rings were amazing! And the salmon Rockefeller didn't disappoint! We also had a nice view from the windows of the frozen Mississippi

Fabulous food, excellent service. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Justine provided excellent service. Everyone was super nice, especially seating us at a table where my wife cloud scoot up with her battery scooter. The view was spectacular. Shown are the 12oz Pirme Ribeye, and the Chicken of the Sea (1/2# Chicken George and 5 shrimp) . Steak very tasty, Chicken was super. We will definitely go back!

Went here for the first time for our 6th year anniversary! Very delicious food and very friendly Staff!!! Beautiful restaurant and scenery!!! Highly recommend

The Candlelight Meh-nu isn’t what it used to be. The unplanked salmon was pedestrian and pan fried and my daughter’s burger was rare. The sound of Clintonians coughing everywhere was the 👩🍳’s 💋. But if you’re going to eat average fare at least it was a beautiful night on the Mississippi.

Went there for my birthday. It was a nice but humid day so we sat inside. You can still see the river because the windows are huge. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Our server Olivia was really nice and pleasant. Everything was clean and sanitized. There is outside seating.

I took my wife my moth and my sister here for Mother’s Day. We all was very pleased and impressed with the service even though we could tell the server’s ect had already had a long busy day with customers and being on their feet. The food was Fantastic! My steak cooked exactly how I asked the Chicken George my mother ordered was amazing my wife ordered chicken Alfredo and my sister ordered the tortellini which both didn’t stand a chance they was so good! The portions was great we definitely wasn’t and didn’t leave there hungry and the price of all four of us was around $114.00 which was even better! The Candlelight Inn Restaurant sits right on the Mississippi River so we had a great view.

The first time I had the Chicken George a year ago it was tough and dry. But today it was perfect. That said, the staff is always friendly and the view of the Mississippi is the best.
