Denny's

Denny’s always has great breakfast food with generous portion sizes. Their omelettes are great & it’s a nice place to meet for breakfast. I hadn’t been to a Denny’s restaurant in years, but met my mom at this one in Clifton a couple months back for breakfast. They were plenty of coffee refills, the restaurant was clean and quiet, and the food was good. Fresh spinach and mushrooms are always a good addition to an omelette. I’m not a big fan of the coffee, but it’s not terrible. The last few times I’ve had it, it seem to be over cooked, like maybe it had been sitting in the pot for a long time. That would make sense though, because we went during the week when the restaurant wasn’t very busy. And the employees were attentive, and everyone seem to be in a pretty good mood. I’ll be back again. This was a good breakfast.

It's alway hit or miss at this place. We choose to have dinner here tonight and it started out well til we waited 40 minutes for a hamburger meal and two breakfast meals. When our meals came out the bun on the hamburger was soggy and the fries were cold but we still weren't too bothered by it and ate it. My sons ordered a omelet and it was wrong. We informed the waitress and they remade it. The part that made it so disappointing was that the cook knew it was wrong and sent it out anyways were told by staff of this. The cook had already started a new one which came out within 5 minutes or so. Why would you send out food that you know it's incorrect? The table next to us also has their food sent out incorrect. This place needs to get it together. Also upsetting is the management never comes out to apologize they always leave the poor wait staff to apologize for problems that the management should handle, it's not the wait staffs fault the food is cold or completely incorrect at least in our case. As I'm reading the responses to the review it makes me think that they don't care to correct any thing as their responses seem auto generated it's exactly the same. No hope that anything will change here.

When I lived in Denver, an experience at a Denny's prompted me to swear off ever going to another Denny's. I'm glad I gave this one a shot. They are wonderful. The food is tasty. Burgers a little greasy, but that's half the fun. They also accept internet orders ahead of time which helps speed the process up a bit for your convenience. Just make sure you are clear you are dining in. I love this place! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️/❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
