The food was amazing. The wait staff is just adorable. Charming smile and southern accent and great service. We were able to reserve a table before 6:00 at the last minute on a busy Friday. I had the catfish vieux carre, which is blackened catfish topped with shrimp and a creamy Cajun sauce. The fish was moist and flakey and perfect!

Service was extremely slow but it was definitely worth the wait. The owner cooked my steak to PERFECTION!!! I'm very ticky about the temperature of my steak and she cooked it perfectly (medium rare). The flavor was just 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. I love when The Hubbin takes me here for date night. Oh and our server, Sarah, was super nice and informative. She looked like she was so happy to be at work, which also made the wait worth it.🥰

Pit of the business world. . . My mother-in-law frequents the place for the salmon. On Friday, June 3, 2022, she went there. When she sat down and was adjusting the chair, the cheap thing twisted and pinched her finger. It literally pinched a pea size chunk out of her finger and it would not stop bleeding. Why she did not then simply go home is beyond me. The staff gave some superficial first aid and an apology. . . did not even offer for her meal to be complimentary. . .!! Boy, talk about a chintzy crew!! She bled all night, ruining her bed linen. Finally going to an urgent care the next day and, after three cauterization's, and hundreds of dollars, they were able to stop the bleeding. . . I hope she'll find a good attorney. Maybe she will. She has three years, Backdraft!
