Noble fish used to have fresh sushi premade. The sushi I purchased today is old and disgusting. I have been coming to this restaurant since before the renovation and expansion and have never had such bad experience. Feels like someone just took $11 out of my pocket.

Love their small selection of Japanese snack, fish, and kitchen Knick nacks. Ordered Sushi to go. They have good sushi. Not my favorite but absolutely fine. Really good even. Staff is super nice. Noble Fish is a staple of Clawson for a reason. Recommended

I picked up 3 huge sushi platters for a celebration of life event. The invoice is nearly $300, but there is a stingy limit of only 25 chopsticks and a handful of soy sauce packets, even though this order was to feed 100+ people 🤔. I was told that I could purchase additional chopsticks, so I had to spend $3+ on something that should've been included. I was in a hurry and forgot to buy soy sauce too, so we ran out of it. It's the principle, not the additional cost, that would otherwise make this review 5 stars. If you plan to order large quantities of sushi, don't forget that you may need to buy additional chopsticks and soy sauce and allow time to wait in the retail line to purchase them. I recommend bringing a box to transport large sushi platters since the plastic trays are not sturdy enough for the weight of the sushi. The quality of the sushi is the best in this area and Noble carries most of the Japanese groceries that I need. Attached is a picture of one of the 3 sushi platters. (I put ice packs on top, hence the condensation.)

Noble Fish was good, but it was not anything above and beyond or special for me. I am happy that I tried it, but it is not a place that would be on the top of my list for sushi in the future because it did not really stand out. One thing that I did not like is their website is misleading. It shows that dine in, takeout, and online ordering for in store pickup are offered. What the restaurant failed to mention is that all their ordering is now done online (which includes dine in). That really made no sense but okay. Seven rolls were ordered, and there was a 70 minute wait time tagged to the order. Why is it seven rolls take over an hour to be ready? My sushi order: *** California Special Roll *** Spider Roll *** Crazy Eel Roll *** Cancun Roll *** Michigan Roll *** Spicy Salmon Crunch Maki *** Spicy Tuna Crunch Maki The Crazy Eel Roll and the Cancun Roll were my two favorite ones. The rest were just regular to me.

Growing up in rural MI, my Japanese family and I would drive over two hours once a week for years to eat at Noble Fish-- a true testament to its authentic and delicious food! Thankfully, we moved closer to metro Detroit and no longer have to drive as far but either way, it's definitely worth it! Pros: the sushi is fresh, authentic, and you can tell that the chefs care about the quality Cons: the space is very, very small. If you prefer to eat in a very open, comfortable space, get the sushi to-go!

I've been coming here for lunch & grocery shopping over 11 years now and they never disappoint! The sushi is some of the best I've had, and everything is pretty reasonably priced, especially the import items you can't find at most local American grocery stores. The addition of White Wolf nearby has only improved things, as well - so nice to occasionally grab some fresh baked cream rolls or shokupan! I recommend this place to my coworkers every chance I get. Thanks for always being a great place to shop & eat, Noble Fish!

Noble Fish offers the absolute best sushi I've had outside of California or New York. The seafood tastes fresh and has just an unexplainable extra bit of flavor and satisfaction you can't find anywhere else in Michigan. I'm a big fan of the traditional nigiri. Their menu has been updated in recent years to include some American style sushi rolls. The dragon roll is very good. Enjoy.
