I have been coming here for a good few years now and the food is constantly of the highest quality. Always fresh and very tasty. The fusion of flavours always impress and delight the taste buds. Service is always swift and efficient, even in these troubled times. You would do yourself a great favour by popping in and trying all the best this place has to offer. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

Good friendly atmosphere. Fast courteous service. Professional staff. Tasty food and beverages. While the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, the tables are ridiculously small. There were three of us and there was no space left on the table. But otherwise, a pleasant experience.

Yum! Had the beef rib. It was so tender and falling off the bone. Great salad too. Dressing comes on the side in a little glass jar so I can decide how much I want to put on. Large space with good menu. It was busy but they had lots of staff - including in the kitchen so food didn't take long to arrive.

Best food, absolutely 5 stars. And the atmosphere is brilliant. If the service could be better. Girls need smile.

A little underwhelmed. Typika has been a forefront in modern cafe culture for some time, we were in the area and dying for some chicken & waffles. If you are after a contemporary space and haven't been exposed to much Asian cuisine, this place is perfect to ease yourself into more interesting flavours. Service was a little clunky, floor staff were pleasant but seemed under the pump, those in the coffee area were straight up rude. We changed our seats a few times before ordering as it was quite busy and the initial table up the back near the kitchen was quite cold. We ended up settling near the front windows to soak in the sun (please note we let the server know we had moved and she said it was fine). Menu reads well and everything sounded great. The layout of the menu is a little odd and we kept searching to find more pages with more options. We then went to order at the coffee area as now we had sat in the self service area (not 100% sure but we had to make some quick assumptions). Service was bare minimum, abrupt and just poor. We received our coffees and they were fine, a good cup of Jo. Food came and we were excited to see how it was presented. It looked modern and different and tasty. Unfortunately our expectations were let down. My chicken and waffles read to be Korean style with gochujang sweet sauce (a staple). The sauce unfortunately was mostly tomato sauce/ketchup with a hint of gochujang. This already wrote off the meal for me. The chicken was good, a little underseasoned but crisp. Then there was the avocado. Avocado belongs in a number of dishes, especially a seasoned avo mash that tasted exceedingly like guac, but not with Korean fried chicken. Then the waffles were an attempt at a savoury waffle. Again, fine, nothing wrong, but the corn added to the Mexican vibe and the whole dish just got thrown off. Suddenly I was eating something that tasted like an average taco, smothered in tomato sauce. Nothing Korean about it unfortunately. It also missed the mark on my fried chicken and waffles craving which is the super sweet and super savoury smashed together. Just overall underwhelming. My partner ordered the dang dang beef which just sounded cool and contemporary. What he was presented with, was a rendang. My partner is Malay and when dining at an Australian cafe he was frustrated at best to receive a basic homecooked meal for cafe prices. He had been tossing up between a few things on the extensive menu and chose this since it seemed different. He was disappointed. As this is something we cook on a night off for a quick meal, we were at least expecting beautiful meat and some contemporary twists. But alas, it was a pretty average, okay rendang. In combination with the below average service and the poorly executed food, I won't be back unfortunately. The coffee I might swing in for a quick takeaway in the area if the service improved.

Awesome brunch place! *Dog friendly* three little tables outside, sheltered. Was pleasant even in winter and with rain. Huge warehouse-style, superbusy at 11 on Saturday but service was quite fast. Can't book but line moves quickly and there are lots of tables. Service was lovely, we got the babycchino right away (as a parent you know this is great!!), the waiter brought us a dog water bowl, and we broke a glass but he was extremely nice and helped us clean right away. Food was wonderful too, my husband reckons "best huevos rancheros he's ever had". My hot bird (Korean fried chicken on savoury waffles) were great too, a bit too saucy and wish I had gone half with something else as the portion was quite big. Lots of different food options, some Asian fusion ones that I'd love to try next time.

Really reliable cafe. Easily accessible from Stirling Highway, with parking outside the front. However, depending on the day that you visit, you might need to do a few rounds to find one! Their coffee is fantastic. As the menu is well thought of, there are lots of options to choose from! They are also extremely accommodating for food allergies. Lastly, their presentation of food is great, but the taste is even better!
