Bones Backstreet Bbq

My go to place for chicken fingers and fries even though it's a BBQ place. I love their grilled chicken sandwich too. They have my favorite being the flat chicken fingers I call them lol (like the kind I grew up on) and crinkle cut fries. Their funnel fries (like a funnel cake) are amazing and you get a nice helping for just $3.00. I've ordered other items and sides, but never had bad food from here. They are my go to place for ordering and I use waitrapp.com a lot to get food from them. Their prices and portion sizes are awesome. They take pride in their health inspection score too.

Maybe the locals go here because they don't know BBQ. This is THE worse place I have EVER ate at. BBQ taste like it was steamed or boiled with absolutely no real BBQ taste. The chef salad was also a joke. Imitation squares of ham with waterlogged lettuce. Soggy onion rings the place has no idea how real BBQ is supposed to be. Never again never !

This was my first visit so I might have just caught them on an off-day. My wife's bbq salad was good but my half chicken was mediocre at best. The chicken had obviously been cooked much earlier and kept hot or reheated in a greasy brine resulting in a bland, soft, gooey product. Based on local feedback, I would give it another try.
