Caribbean Pleasures

I had a great time there. Great Authentic Haitian foods. food was delicious and order a plate to go. the wait time was moderate, but definitely worth it. it has a dance floor and a large patio in the back. Musics was great and give me the Caribbeans' vibe. the owners are kind and friendly. definitely will go back again. in addition, Place turn into a club after 9pm. Awesome!

I'd never had haitian food before eating at this place but i ordered the jerk chicken and it was good! Different from Jamaican jerk chicken but good still! The real highlight of this place is the hostess. She's so lovely and welcoming. You feel like you're eating in her house. Looks like a fun place to come and drink. I'll definitely be back at night.

First time visiting. Long time eater of Caribbean Food. It was suggested that I try the Group. The meat was hard, but expected (deep fried pork). But sauce was watered down. No flavor, no spice. The rice and beans were terrible, had a fish flavor. Not eatable. Had to toss it all. I was very disappointed, I got my meal to go and lived too far to return. Not worth the $14.00 I paid. I visited July 2, 2016.

These people are thieves! They charges our meals incorrectly, re-ran the credit card a second time to "fix" the bill. When I inquired about making sure that the credit card was not charged twice, they said "no problem", they had canceled the first charge. Well, checking my statement, not only was there two charges, the restaurant even overcharged on the amount for what the bill was to be for by $8.00 dollars. The food took a lot of time to get, and the meats were very dry. Avoid this place at all costs!

I just got ripped off! The food was tasty (not amazing) and the owner charismatic and I believed to be kind ... until she tried to charge me $60 for a combo plate for 1 person! 😳 She brought it down $10 ... but $50!! I feel ripped off and I'm only giving my review, to hopefully save someone else from this feeling. I feel like she thought I had money, so I should pay. She was wrong and now she has made my crappy day (that I was treating myself, to feel better) worse! Save the trouble, unless maybe you negotiate the prices beforehand?... they make them up in the end

I wanted to thank Marthe, the chef, for the wonderful dinner my friend and I enjoyed at her restaurant. I tried the Spageti Kreole and it tasted like heaven. It's absolutely the best spaghetti I've ever tasted and I thank her for it. My friend ordered the Pork Rib dinner and truly enjoyed every bite!!! She said that the Bar-Be-Que sauce had just the right amount of spice and that the meat was so tender. . . falling off the bones! What to say, the food was excellent, as was the service too. Everyone was friendly and upbeat - really willing to help! Thanks again and all that's left to them is "See you for lunch real soon!!!"

I missed my friends Haitian food so I thought I would give this place a try... my friend and I walked out without buying anything... the girl gave us Menus then we were kind of like can we get some water please? She straight up tried to up sale us with some juices... never got our water and was waiting next to us to order... she kept asking if we were ready and that we should try their drinks... (NEVER GOT US OUR WATER) we felt pressured and rushed. We went to Tapaz instead at least we would get good service there

Food was either really salty or bland the Mac and cheese was obviously kraft Mac and cheese. but I didn’t enjoy choking on a bone every time I took a bite of my sandwich and I really didn’t like it when everything I wanted they “didn’t serve” anymore and when my brother asked for a burger (which was in the menu) the lady walked away and trash talked us saying if you want a burger why don’t you go to Macdonalds. In all I would not recommend.
