Amazing!! Accidentally turned up very late for our reservation but staff were super friendly and got us sat down relatively quickly. Our food was great and priced nicely. Cocktails were lovely - I recommend the Apple of your (my?) Eye

Visited today with a large family party. Service was a little catotic but the food was absolutely perfect. We had lots of different starters, mains and deserts, all were well presented and tasty.

First time I ate here and certainly will not be the last. The food is truly out of this world. Fast service, nicely decorated and bright inside, ample seating. The staff are lovely and helpful and know the menu very well. Incredible value for money too. I felt a bit embarrassed asking for the Italian meals on the menu but the staff werent phased at all and know the menu well enough to help you out! Solid 10/10 for this place.

Been here many times over the years. I took my boys and mum on Monday evening, luckily they fitted us in as it was really busy. They have an amazing deal on a Monday and pizza or pasta dish £5.99. the portions are normal size and they are delicious. I had the lasagne and a rocket salad. My son's had Bolognese and carbonara they both said it was really good. Mum had a pizza with chicken and sweetcorn which was nice but the base could have been cooked more. Overall a great evening , the staff are brilliant and the atmosphere was great with it being so busy. I highly recommend trying here and they do deals during the week, so a good opportunity to try it for a very reasonable price.

Food good. Service good. Quite noisy and was only midweek. If you are eating out as a couple ask for a quiet table

Busy Monday night but it’s such great value! Table was booked for our anniversary, food was excellent, short wait for our table service was good, and not slow as we were quite prepared to wait considering how busy it was. Would certainly return great food excellent service :)

First, but not last, visit to this restaurant. Easy to make booking, table ready on time The staff were friendly and helpful, service was quick but not rushed. All food was piping hot, very tasty and reasonable value. Overall a great first experience at Papa Luigis.

Went on a busy Monday and although I hadn't expected the world, Papa Luigis delivered. Food was top notch, it came really quickly both starters and mains. Portion sizes were perfect. We went as a couple and two kids and everyone enjoyed it.

What a great restaurant. We went for lunch and wasn't disappointed. We only tried the special 2 course offering but if the rest of the food is anything like that we will be in for a treat when we go again

Great Experience! Lots of free parking available. Clean toilets. It was quite busy but only 20min wait time. Very quick to get food from ordering. Good customer service. The price was very affordable £76.25 for 6 meals and 5 drinks and it was more than enough for 5 people. No service charge included. Recommend this

Had my first visit here last week. We were a group of 12, and we had such great service from start to finish. We had the Monday deal, which was such good value. I had the pasta deal for £5.95. The food was so fresh and piping hot. We shared some garlic bread between us, which were also lovely. We will definitely be back

It is a very nice place, It feels like a family run restaurant for family parties and family night out. You are welcome there from the first step in the door. The staff is very thoughtful and friendly. The food was good, everyone had finished it (including kids) and it was on time, even though there were several big parties. Only one slight notice, there are lots of tables and the place can be tight spaced and loud when it is full, it did not ruin our experience but something that surprised us .

Papa Luigi's is a very busy restaurant, went here for the three course menu which only costed £12.95 and it was amazing. The staff were extremely kind, and very attentive. The food was superb, everything we had ordered was great. I had ordered the Fresh Chicken Wings (starter), Pasta with chorizo, sausage and chicken in tomato sauce (main course) and the Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake (dessert). The starter was amazing, the chicken was cooked perfectly and it came with a bit of sweet chilli sauce. The main course I had ordered was great, it came with a lot of sausage which was nice and the sauce tasted really good. I would also recommend the lasagna which was to die for. The dessert was okay, the cake was a bit dry but still tasted great with the scoop of ice cream on the side. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Chorley.

I booked a birthday dinner for my family at 7-30pm on Saturday 9th February 2013. We arrived at 7-20pm and the head waiter said it would only be a few minutes before he could give us our table;and to have a drink at the bars holding area, where about 20 other people were waiting. I am an insulin dependent diabetic for 50years and it is important for me to have meals in a regular time frame-that was why I asked the head waiter how long we would have to wait. Anyway to cut a long story short we waited and waited; I tried to attract this mans attention on a number of occasions but he just ignored us. No other staff were interested either. In the end we decided to call it a day on the basis that if it took this long to be sat down at a table- how much longer would we have to wait once we had ordered the food? At about 8-10pm we left the restaurant with some dirty looks given to us by the head waiter. <br/>Having to wait this long in a very cramped holding area effectively for nothing- totally ruined my planned birthday celebration . It is obvious to me that Papa Luigis take multiple bookings for people at the same time, with not the slightest intention of giving clients a table at the time they booked it for. They dont mention you will have to wait when you make the initial booking either. To make matters worse they obviously say to everyone that they will only have to wait "a minute ir two" to get a table and order food- when in fact they know full well they will have to wait 40 mins+ before they are even allocated a table or order food. If you get that far- the wait for food will then begin in addition to the initial waiting.<br/>This place used to be good many years ago -, but really the service is dreadful nowadays and the atmosphere is not relaxing at all. The staff are arrogant and I would not recommend this place to anyone any more.Papa Luigis is a waste of space now - beware !

Awful attitude. We thought we'd try Papa's before we committed a large family gathering to a bit of a celebration (15 year and 40 year anniversary party) - all seemed ok although I though the prices were a little steep. Upon getting my main I explained that I'd never ever received a pizza that didnt have a tomato sauce base. To my surprise there response was "look at the menu - thats what you ordered". <br/><br/>Now dont get me wrong, upon reading it I realised it didnt say "Tomato" but really, I've never (ever) seen a pizza without a sauce base. <br/><br/>Nevertheless, I can accept the situation and would have gladly paid for another pizza to be made up (it was literally inedible unless you're a cow who needs a salt lick daily!)... They didnt even make a suggestion - they simply said "Well, thats what it says on the menu."<br/><br/>After the meal, as I was paying up I explained that I accept it was my fault for not reading the menu correctly (although I repeat, I've never had a pizza without a sauce base), I was again confronted by "Did you show 'him' the menu" and "Well sir, thats what it says on the menu".<br/><br/>Not once did anyone ask "What can we do to help", or "How can we help". I even had to wait 5 minutes with my hand constantly waiving, before anyone actually noticed me wanting assistance during the meal..<br/><br/>Surely the point of any meal is to have great food served perfectly and with the right attitude. We'd considered papa's as I though their service would be second to none, but in reality it's a factory with uncaring maitre de and staff and all in all, whilst i'm sure the food (if its what you expect) is fine, in my case I was severely let down by a serious case of bad customer care.<br/><br/>As i've mentioned, I accept that it was my fault and never once suggested that it was a fault of theirs (though in my own mind Im still adamant that pizza's always have a sauce base), but the lack of consideration and considerable indifference to my plight means I have to say "buyer beware". Normally a phrase reserved for used car salesmen but in this case, buyer.... "Be Bloody Well Aware". If you buy poorly expect terrible after sales care.<br/><br/>Sorry, not what I expect of a relatively expensive restaurant.......

Have been going to papa's for many years having grown up in euxton but must say it's not as good as it once was. Menu choice is good and the lunchtime £3.95 pizza and pasta deal is great value. The thing that seriously lets this place down is the service. There's a certain air of you inconveniencing the staff if you have a request that may be even slightly out of the ordinary, in my case, asking to pay my share of the bill separately on a debit card, to which I got a very frosty response. This however, cannot top the blatantly obvious disgust at the lack of a tip when my group of colleagues and I paid the bill for lunch yesterday. Just downright rude and I will not be going back!!!

Happy Medium. I go to Papa's for every local occasion, Birthdays, Engagements or sometimes just a meal. Papa's is potentially a great restaurant, always packed full, so it must be good..? I've dined via the most expensive item on the menu, to the lowest priced, still couldn't find something that I thought was nice, not even ok, just very bland.<br/>All that lacks from this little place is some attention to detail, fresh & flavour packed food. Although I'm going to this very place this evening, but for £3.95 I have no complaints!<br/><br/>I must tell you that the service is top draw, which in a way does balance the average meals that I've had there.<br/> <br/>Recommend Chicken Caicatorre @ £13.50 <br/><br/>Or settle with a pizza, something that I can't fault.<br/><br/>Regards<br/>D.M
