We came here on Sunday 29/10/23 this was the opening night for new menu, new staff and new management. We were VERY impressed. The food was superb and although it was evident the staff were very new and nervous, they were so polite and attentive it made our meal an even more pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend a visit to the Black Horse at Limbrick.

We have just taken over this pub amd hoping to have it back to what the locals want it to be like but still keeping with the old pub but bringing it in 2023 with a great atmosphere.... hope to see you all soon...

Very nice Sunday Lunch and great value with Soup £14.50. Pity they had run out of Soup at 4 pm.

A lovely historic inn with a, superb modern Mediterranean menu with great ale too
Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough including giving Maffy some, water and biscuits az it's dog friendly too
Wanted to be able to stay longer

Very welcoming, dog friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Went mid week for a late birthday meal so we could walk the dog when it went cooler. Happily served us at 8.30PM. Great menu choice and tasty food. The dog also approved, was very relaxed and he was very welcomed. We will return. Thank you.

"I recently visited this pub with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We ordered a chicken curry with poppadom and naan bread with chips, and a creamy chicken with mushrooms dish. The dishes were freshly cooked and came in good portion sizes. What impressed us most was the taste- everything was so flavorful and delicious! I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a satisfying meal and a refreshing drink." Gorgeous meal yesterday, traditional country pub with waterside beer garden, dog friendly and the staff were awesome, well worth going the 5 mins out of Chorley for!!

First time I've ever been and 35 yrs since my partner been. Loved it, the food was excellent, was able to have lots of tea as I dont drink. My partners cask ale was spot on and our Jack Russell loved the beer garden. Will definitely be back!!!

We had 4 lovely meals made with fresh delicious ingredients, prepared and served quickly too -would definitely recommend giving this quaint country pub a try. The lady serving was extremely helpful and the tables + cutlery were spotless ( also dog friendly) and with a spacious car park.
