Discovered this place by chance, but ended up being a regular. CREAM Chico is the place to go for your ice cream sandwich needs. They use baked goodies and even waffles as bases for ice cream sandwiches. There has always been friendly service. It would be a great place for a date or just a quick sweet treat.

This place is amazing! The ice cream flavors are great! Staff is friendly and invested in a good experience for patrons. It's a clean and tidy place. Great for families. The Peach Bellini and Churro flavor made me a customer for life. The workers seem to be happy and invested in your experience being a positive one.

This place misses on a huge opportunity to be the place on the North end of Chico to get dessert. The staff isn't very social. The place is dirty and the bathroom was disgusting and under stocked. Tables were all dirty and floor was covered in trash. I went in when they opened and again now. Big disappointment. Lack of ownership and management shows. EDIT: Felt it appropriate to adjust my review. I went back over the weekend with my family and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and well kept, the staff was 3 young ladies, all smiles and super friendly, created a very welcoming environment. Not to imply that my review caused change, but it sheds light on my stop being possibly a one time thing. Definitely worth a try if you are wanting a treat.

The first time I came in and tried this place, I had non-dairy ice cream and my cookies were soft, warm, and absolutely delicious. The second time I came here about two weeks later, the cookies were rock hard but the ice cream was still good. Seems to be a mixed bag from hour to hour, my advice would be to call in before you make the trip to see if and when they will be coming out with fresh cookies for the best possible experience. :>
