Sub-station

I used to go here at their old location when I was in college. The new location is more commercial. I do miss the more chico charm feel. However, sandwiches still on point and delicious! Was busy in there but they still got the food out quick! Great service. In the past every time I went in the owner (I think his name is mike?) was working. So kinda sad not to see him, but he deserves a break after all his hard work and commitment!

Sub station is one of the best sandwich places in Chico in my opinion. The bread rolls are nice and soft and the toppings are finely diced, which I actually prefer over sliced veggies. Also, the sandwiches are a decent size with prices that are fair. I highly recommend calling in your order, especially if you go between 12-1, as they tend to be the busiest then. If you're a first-timer I would definitely try them out when they aren't in full swing with the lunch rush because you might get skimped on toppings if they're slammed with orders. Overall I give them 5 stars with price and quality in mind.
