Raley's

10-31-21 - They always helpful in the bakery. They didn't have the cake that my daughter wanted which was a pumpkin spice cake, it just so happened I visited on Halloween day but I worked an 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. shift and by the time I got there to pick up my daughter's birthday cake they had already sold out of all of the holiday cakes. I did get her a tiramisu cake, which ended up being pretty good.

I really like Raley's. Often the night staff isn't as friendly as the day staff. But other than that, Raley's is always my first choice for getting groceries. The produce is always fresh, the bakery is always on top of the sell by dates, and honestly, besides going to a butcher, Raley's always has the best meat available...

This is an excellent grocery store that is adequately staffed both on the floor and at checkout. While their regular prices may be a tad high what supermarket doesn't have high prices theses days. They are period sales that made certain items a definite deal. Would recommend and the park lot is plenty large along with easy access from both East and Esplanade.

The prices on only *some* items can cost more but you learn what these are and only buy as needed or when on sale. This is because if you look around their buyers buy only THE BEST MOST VARIED grocery items anywhere! Look at their produce—always beautiful ultra fresh the BEST! Their produce is fair market value but is of a far superior quality anywhere! So your fresh fruits and vegetables will not only be healthier, more varied, and taste better, but it will last so much longer in your fridge—making it more desirable and saving you money! They also offer hands down BEST MEAT DEPT variety and POWEST PRICES especially given the HIGH QUALITY meats like California Harris Ranch and California Certified Angus Beef SO MUCH tastier than say, Safeway, where I’ve noticed they are now selling “choice meats” (some of the LOWEST GRADE) for higher prices than Raleys Angus! It’s as if they’re trying to convince ignorance shoppers that Choice beef is great..it’s so not good. So Raleys meats are the best and at LOWEST prices. Go for meat produce and a hot fresh loaf of bread and you’re set:-)
