Went into the store today to buy some fabric to recover our dinning chairs. Was served by Jeanette on curtains and fabric dept. She was so friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Thank you. We went away very impressed, went down stairs and bought another £60 of items. Well done Jeannette, down to her excellent customer services.

Just had some excellent customer service from the Chichester branch, bought a cordless vacuum from there, staff member was extremely helpful and very knowable, got the vacuum home but unfortunately she’d given us a slightly different model in error, rang the store who were very apologetic and so was the member of staff, went in the next day to swap the vacuum and was given a voucher for the drink and cake by way of an apology. You can’t beat John Lewis for service, quality and beautiful products, we particularly like getting our electrical goods from there, their prices are competitive and their buyers always pick the best quality products within a given price range. Just wish the Chichester branch was bigger and had clothes as well.

We had an issue on Maxi Cosi isofix base for baby car seat. Went to John Lewis Chichester. Ellie helped us and took care of the issue very closely. She did everything as much as she can to solve the problem. She was really helpful. Thanks Ellie and all John Lewis staff.

Nice little store. Shame about the lack of fashion/clothing department. Loved the 1st floor cafe/restaurant

Great staff. Very helpfull and assisted with all the questions I had about a coffee machine. Came out spending less than I planned and I am very happy with the overall experience.

A great John Lewis store which we enjoyed browsing round. The staff were really friendly and tried to help us find the items we were looking for (without any pressure to buy). We visited the cafe while here which was okay - a nice pot of tea but the brownie was a bit rich (I love a brownie but this had excessive amounts of sweetness in it). The car park was good but if you don’t get the timing right for your visit (which we didn’t), then you can get caught in quite a bit of traffic on the busy road you have to drive onto. (The roundabout really would benefit from traffic lights!)

My son & I visited the store on Saturday morning, we were greeted with a smiling face. A member of staff first approached us to ask if we needed help whilst looking at the coffee machines, we declined thanking her & she reassured us to please ask if we did at anytime want her help. When we had chosen our purchase I was also looking at other kitchen equipment & another young man offered to carry our goods to the till! Our whole experience has been very pleasant & can’t fault the staff throughout our visit. Well done . Thankyou all so much

We arrived at the store looking for lighting for our newly decorated lounge and conservatory. The choice was extensive but what really helped was the assistance from Liliana, she was amazing and helped us choose the right lighting complete with bulbs etc. at no time did we feel that we were being sold to, she is a fantastic asset for John Lewis.

Dog friendly, store with excellent products and helpful staff. I was especially pleased with a staff member Donna as visited shop with dog and wanted a coffee but unhappy to leave dog unattended whilst I ordered at counter. They have 3 tables outside cafe area for dog owners, but means dog is out of sight, and she offered to sit with him whilst I ordered. What thoughtfulness!!

Went into JL today looking at car seats for our 4 year old who had just outgrown his. We had an idea of what we were looking however after meeting Ellie we knew exactly what we needed. It was a pure pleasure, she was fantastic with our son, explaining everything we needed to know (which we would have had no clue about if we had brought online), even going to the effort of helping us unbox it so we could put it in our car, as our son was so excited to go in it. We all need an Ellie, well done John Lewis Chichester fabulous service as always

I went in yesterday to sort out a TV for my brother in law who is in a home, hard or hearing, and sight is not brilliant. I was assisted by a lady called Gabby. She was AMAZING. New her stuff, helpful, not pushy, just brilliant service. The prices were very competitive. Had been elsewhere, but the service though good did not really match my needs. This is the second time I have purchased items from John Lewis and I was impressed with service previously. The reason I delayed my visit there was my reluctance at travelling from Bognor to Chichester at the moment because of traffic!

Staff were incredibly helpful and personable. People often question the prices at John Lewis but the service makes up for it, and in any case the item purchased was the same price as anywhere else. In fact, after scanning my John Lewis card it actually worked out £100 cheaper! A certain nearby electrical retailer could learn a lot from this store...

This is a nice John Lewis. Quite small but pleasant enough for a browse. The coffee shop is quite good and usually quite busy. Clean toilets. A good selection of electrical goods etc. Plenty of furnishing and homestead too.. Always a pleasant browse with ample parking too

The store inside is looking great for Christmas with lots of very nice decorations and Christmas trees. But my reason for being here was for tech in particular a large monitor for my PC which I had heard was going for a great price. They had it but only the display model so a member of staff has sent an email to me for when new stock arrives I will know. A big thank you John Lewis.

Good sized outlet on two levels with easy parking facilities. The internal layout of the store is clear, inviting and organised. Some of the displays showed evidence of “customer rummage” but that’s normal for tactile displays and is one of the benefits of physical shopping over online shopping! The environment is warm and friendly. There is a large range of top branded and JL home products on display, including made to measure curtains, clocks, furniture, kitchen appliances, audio, lap tops, televisions, lighting and seasonal items. Electrical products are usually backed by a 2 or 5 year guarantee and their price match policy tick my boxes. Registering for a JL card offers perks as well as serving as a virtual kitchen drawer storing all your purchases and guarantees for future reference. There is a small cafe on the first floor where I sampled a lovely latte (well rude not to?) The service was a little slow but the cafe was clean, comfortable and modern. Access between floors is very good. I found the staff to be courteous and well informed. Overall, an excellent place to visit for quality homeware items.
