La Encantada

Cute place with art display and layed back music. Enjoyed some drinks, michelada and diablo were good, margarita standard, in there adorable patio and we were all pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. We had chile en nogada, Chile relleno, enchiladas suizas y poblanas. Everything had a very good homemade taste.

This place is absolutely amazing! To be honest from the outside and street it doesn’t look good but once you walk in you’d think you’re in river north with how cute it is inside with a lot of Hispanic art and a stunning outdoor patio. The food is probably the best Mexican food i’ve ever eaten at a restaurant and that’s saying something since my stepmother is Mexican and has taken me to many restaurants all over the city. It felt like you were eating food that your Abuela’s cooking (grandma in spanish) in a gourmet setting. Our waitress was so kind and the restaurant was very clean and the prices for everything are great! Can’t say enough good things about this place.
