My daughter absolutely loves Sai so when she is back from college we always go. Food and service are always excellent. Even took a walk to see their new location only a few blocks away. Glad they are stayimg close

My family has been dining at Sai Cafe for decades. They have some of the best quality sushi I have ever enjoyed! Since they have been around for so long, Jim, the owner, is able to get the best choice of fish at the market, and it shows. The sashimi just melts in your mouth. The rest of the menu is also really great, but we always come for the consistently excellent sushi. Even our friends from Japan agree that this is excellent quality, authentic sushi!

Sai cafe is just fantastic. Our whole family loves to come here. Everything is just absolutely amazing. The sushi is phenomenal. Gorgeous ambience inside and Sai is just the nicest, almost always in the house walking around and making sure everything is fantastic.

Great quality fish, sit at the sushi bar if you can, you might have your sushi prepared by the owner Jim. We always enjoy our time here, friendly staff & quick and attentive service. Neighborhood gem in LP.

Always love going to our favorite neighborhood spot. The owner, Jim, and every single staff member there makes you feel at home the second you walk in! They’re all so friendly and knowledgeable, and love helping you choose what to order. The restaurant itself is SO clean and cozy, the food is delicious and fresh, and all so reasonably priced. Favorite sushi spot in Chicago - hands down!

The food and vibe is excellent. The Gilled Black Cob and creamy scallop maki were too die for. The dirty martini was also great! The service was good but I felt a bit rushed. I guess that’s just Chicago!

sai cafe has the freshest sushi in all of chicago. you can come here knowing you’ll be served the best quality fish and other ingredients. tucked away on the corner of sheffield and armitage, it can be easy to miss, but definitely give this place a try. you simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu UPDATE: still the best sushi I’ve had in chicago

Went with my friend for dinner and we absolutely loved it! Everything from the aesthetic, service and especially the food was phenomenal.
By far the best sushi I've had in Chicago, we ordered the ahi poke appetizer and would very highly recommend it, it was one of the greatest dishes I've had in my entire life.

Celebrated multiple birthdays at this wonderful restaurant. The service was amazing just as the flavor of the food. Fresh ingredients, clean facility, and warm atmosphere perfect for a relaxing meal. Lobster, scallops, salmon, and king crab ... Perfecto~

First thing that you notice when you walk in is that the restaurant is very very clean. Friendly staff and quick service. We ordered a couple of rolls and it was very delicious! If you are looking for high quality sushi you should definitely check this place out!
