Cafe Bionda

Came here for date night and my date was hesitant since he hadn’t been here in a few years. He knew they had changed management and a few things on the menu. His biggest worry was whether it would still be as amazing as it was before. Andrey (the manager) touched our table and was extremely kind, hospitable, and accommodating. He assured my date that they would be able to put together the meal he desired. They exceeded our expectations! The food was excellent! The support staff were also amazing! The ambiance was nice on this Saturday night and it felt very intimate although we sat near the bar. We will certainly be back. I highly highly recommend!

Just returning from ten years in Houston and happy to see Cafe Bionda made it through the pandemic. 🎊 My friend and I would eat there often and decided to visit yesterday. Food did not disappoint! My first grilled calamari was here ages ago and even though the recipe changed, the tenderness is the same. Burger was amazing. Wasn’t medium as ordered but the quality of meat made it taste like it was! Incredible. Can’t go wrong with homemade Tiramisu and what’s a Friday afternoon dining al fresco without a cocktail. Try the espresso martini. 7 Cellars with meal. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome! It's the best food that I've eaten in South Loop ... and just in a while, to be honest. I heard that they had a new grilled octopus item on the menu. Apparently, it wasn't actually on the menu, yet. But, they served it up anyway and it was spectacular. The chef walked out before we left to hear the same feedback that I am leaving here. You gotta try it. We will be back for more - drinks and octopus at a high-top, near the bar, next time. Lots of seating choices, here. Need to explore...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Bionda Italian Restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon during a Bears game, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. If you're in search of an authentic Italian dining experience that can handle a full house, this is the place to be. Upon arriving at Cafe Bionda, I was initially concerned about the crowd, as the restaurant was packed with eager football fans. However, any worries quickly dissipated as I witnessed the impeccable organization and dedication of the staff. Despite the chaos of game day, they managed to provide top-notch service with a smile. The ambiance at Cafe Bionda is charming and cozy, with warm lighting and traditional Italian decor that instantly transports you to Italy. It's the perfect setting for a relaxed yet vibrant meal. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, and it was evident that everyone was having a great time I highly recommend this place.

As a regular, I came in for dinner during the opening bears game with some friends. The location was busier than normal but still enjoyed my time. The game kept me occupied while I waited for our apps and clearly noticed how busy our server was. The hard work did not go unnoticed. Our server kept us updated and the manager was touching tables which was so appreciated. Our food was still top notch and worth the wait. Love you guys!
