Really friendly and helpful service! The space is very welcoming and comfortable. The drinks and food were good too! I really enjoyed my visit, and will return whenever I'm in Chicago!

simply, best coffee in town. first time i came there was a huge coffee roaster just as you walk in! i remember thinking to myself—these people are my kind of crazy! what’s amazing is that years and second location on 606 later, the quality is not compromised. the staff are friendly in a way that is pleasant—you know, like they are happy and grateful to see you, not like someone is whopping them into frantic capitalist joy. the owner makes sure to keep people moving professionally within the company.
with so many local businesses to support, this is definitely the one worth it.

On a short trip and this coffee shop was just down the block. Decided to try it out, and I'm so glad I did!
I ordered one of the best chai teas I've ever had. The service was incredible.

Ipsento might be one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. They’re a bit slower than your run of the mill coffee shop but the quality is truly unmatched.
It’s also a super cozy and cute spot.
Try their breakfast sandwiches! They are so so tasty!

Go to the one on Western, it is somewhat old and interesting with 2nd sitting room uo the stairs. The one on Milwaukee is new not as unque but it is good

If you are looking for a cozy and chill environment, Ipsento is your go to! I honestly fell in love with that place and will make sure to visit very often! They are super original and don't let me get started with the coffee cups! I am a huge fan of mugs and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I just really needed to share about how great this place is. I spent about 2 hours or more typing up a paper and it was just the perfect place to do so. I recommend you visit this place ASAP! MUCH NEEDED FOR COFFEE LOVERS :)
And trust me, they have great music as well.

Great alternative to your typical cafe. This place does take a while to prep your drink, but I assure you it’s made with love. Get the Ipsento latte; a creative twist and cure for a savory craving caffeine fiend. An interesting blend of coconut milk, regular milk, honey, cayenne pepper, and perfectly roasted espresso. I do thoroughly enjoy their standard fine roasted black coffee—but it’s hard to decline such a decadent and tasty latte!

London Fog was great and the "cheers" from the barista when I picked it up was a nice touch. It is a very large drink that only comes in one size however, so be mindful before you order how much you'll be able to finish.

Well-made coffee drinks and quick service. As a bonus, they have a ton of milk alternative options, instead of just one or two like Intelligensia. It's a shame the Starbucks opened down the street, because a lot of people will never get to discover this place

Great coffee here, but a small space (even with the back rooms). The coffee is flavorful and well prepared. They also offer sandwiches which look interesting but I've never been there for a meal. The espresso is fantastic as well. There is a back room with couches and tables in addition to the few spots to sit in the front but it is often crowded. If you can secure a seat, enjoy it!

Excellent drip coffee, espresso and lattes. They roast their own coffee. It is roasted lighter than I usually like but it was smooth and delicious! The presentation of the espresso was amazing. They provide seltzer water to cleanse your palette and a half peanut butter ball to pair with the espresso. They were quite busy both mornings (around 11am) but they were reasonably prompt. The staff is very friendly and passionate about their coffee. I went there both mornings I was in Chicago. Next time I'm in Chicago I will go again.

Came in on a busy Saturday morning but the staff was still friendly and the food and brew was amazing. The sandwiches are substantial and almost worth splitting. Croissants are soft and buttery, but look towards the right side of the register to save some money (50%) on day old pastries. Coffee was fantastic and not bitter or burnt what so ever. Would recommend for a small coffee shop experience. Skip the shops imported from LA and such and come here.

My personal favorite for a cup of coffee. They make delicious espresso drinks. My favorite is whole milk cappuccino. I love sitting at one of the tables, reading a book, watching the world go by. The coffee is strong and expertly prepared. It tastes unlike any coffee you've ever had. Very nuanced and complex flavor, without too much bitterness. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Coffee beans roasted on premises. Relaxed cozy atmosphere. Great coffee break!
