I Finally Found a Real NY Style Pizza place in Hamptonroads! Funny thing is I'd been driving by the place for 3 years. You would never even know it's there, unless you accidentally passed by it and then you'd probably drive right by it thinking it was just another mom and pop pizza place. You'd be wrong. While it is definitely mom and pop, it's not just another pizza spot. Ray's Pizza is great tasting genuine NY Style Pizza that you have to eat right out of the oven to fully enjoy, so be ready to sit down and eat a couple slices before you even leave the store. Ray the owner is Brooklyn to the core and his Pizza is Brooklyn all the way! Do yourself a favor and go get a pie today!

We used Ray’s Pizza catering for a funeral. We needed to place the order on a holiday weekend and Ray went above and beyond by giving me his personal number so we could get everything together before the day of the funeral. The food was delivered on time and was absolutely delicious and very comforting. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and the service was above and beyond. What a wonderful local business to support. Thank you Ray!

Called in a to go order for two large pizzas, a large salad and four desserts. $75 be ready in 20 minutes, ok sounds good. Get there 20 minutes later the lady says it'll be another couple of minutes, no problem I don't mind waiting. 15 minutes later she says I just checked on it sorry and giggles. Another 15 minutes later she finally comes out with my order and shows me the pizzas and I can see that they're well done. At that point I just wanted to get out of there so I pay and leave. Pretty obvious that they started making the pizzas after I got there and they still burnt them. Thanks Ray's I'll be finding a new pizza spot.

We’ve been in the Chesapeake area for 3 years, moved from New York, and haven’t found a true NY pizza place until we found Ray’s. The pizza is great and the closest to real NY pizza from the sauce to the best crust. Crystal at the front counter took great care of us. WE will be back. MaryAnn and Sue

Delicious local Italian joint. I used to go when Ray was out at St Juliens Creek. Now, this awesome place is 5 minutes from my house. I was thrilled to get good quality chicken with thick red sauce, not orange sauce. We ordered the pizza well done and got it like we wanted it. The cheese and pepperoni actually had flavor! We will be back!
