Denny's

My visit to Denny's Chesapeake was beyond delightful! Azza, my server, greeted me, took my beverage order and suggested my breakfast choice. When it arrived it was hot, and upon tasting, delicious. Azza's attentiveness for coffee refills, asking was all good and her amazing personality made this first time visit wonderful! Good job Azza!

Nothing like breakfast for dinner. This Dennys seemed to have a staff of 2(all I saw),but they were getting it done. While my hash browns were cold my sirloin was perfect.My dinner companion had the Pot roast bowl. A generous serving on a bed of mashed potatoes (with only minus being the carrots were cut too large). I'll be returning to try some of their NEW breakfast offerings.

I have been eating breakfast at Denny's on Saturday mornings with a couple of friends for several weeks. Quite honestly, the food is good but nothing that special. What makes the experience special, however, is our server Azza who always has a smile and and puts up with our carrying on with a pleasant disposition giving it back to us as much as we give it to her. She is a real asset to this location. We will miss her as she travels back home.

Probably the worst Denny's experience that I have ever had. We usually do not go to this location, which is closer to our house, because they usually do a poor job with service and the quality of food. We decided to give them a try, but that was a complete mistake. We waited about 20 extra minutes after the stated pick up time because they forgot to make the order. After the 20 minute wait, I was given a half of an egg with two spoon fulls of burnt hash browns. It doesn't make sense how this Denny's location is still in business. It upsets me that I have to go to the Virginia Beach location to get good food and service. This location either needs to be closed down or revamped unless this is how Denny's wants to be represented. Judging by the other reviews, other paying customers feel the same way.

Went here for food after a concert & they told us the wait was 45 minutes. I understand staffing shortages completely but there were no customers in the restaurant. The hostess pointed to a screen and said they had a bunch of takeout/delivery orders, which again is fine, but they should be able to accomdate those with people who come in person to dine at the establishment... she said those orders were going before we would be seated basically. We left and will not be back.
