Went there for the first time yesterday. Queso is delicious. I had the taquitos and my wife had a chili relleno with taco meal. Wish they had a full chili relleno meal but all was decent. Great customer service and food presentation was nice. I'm not a fan of a burrito that is smothered with stuff so I avoided that. All in all I'd go back at some point if I was hungry and in the area.

Definitely changed since Freddy and his family left. This is the fourth and final time we visited since. My food and margarita were inedible. I sent both back. What came back was significantly better but I should not have to do that. Do better please. We have been going since opening night and this is so sad it’s turned out like this.

Jalapeños unfortunately lives in the shadow of Plaza Azteca. It's a shame because their service is great and the food is just as good. There is typically no wait because of its close proximity to Plaza. They're following all CDC guidelines for CoVid. The Sunday Buffet is no longer available, but it still has a full menu and they're seating inside and in the patio. We took advantage of the unusual hot October and sat on the patio. A nice breeze and a cold beverage go a long way in setting the tone for a great meal. The chicken soft tacos were tasty. The enchiladas verdes were a large enough portion that I had lunch for the next day. I only wish they'd have put more of the salsa verde in the entree. The kids chicken nuggets are cut and fried in house, not pre-packaged and frozen like at other Mexican restaurants. The salsa had just enough heat to compliment the white sauce on the free tortilla chips. Any time there is a warm day with a good breeze, I'll put Jalapeños at the top of my list for patio dining.
