Amici Restaurant

First time at Amici in Cherry Hill. The remodel of the last restaurant (Denim) is amazing. There are no more rooms, just one big room. They also have outdoor seating. The service was good. A bit leisurely at times but overall it was good. The food was very good. The different sauces were all tasty in their own way and none of the meals were super heavy. Everything was light and flavorful. From the tender veal, to the chicken, to the homemade lobster ravioli, no complaints. The desserts were good as well.

Great food! Nice space! But the service... oh my god. Horrendous. I got the death stare from just about every employee I interested with. The hostess looked and acted like I had personally offended her. Rude, ignorant, and downright mean. If eye rolling was a sport she’d have a gold medal. Our server clearly couldn’t wait to stop talking to us. Although “talking” is the wrong term. He didn’t even say hi. Honestly he barely spoke to us at all. Our food took an hour to come out (I get it, it was busy on Fathers Day) but no communication from him in the meantime. Our food runner/asst server seemed unable to make eye contact with us. I question if he had any experience in society, because talking to him was like talking to a wall. Exception: The guy that showed us the dessert tray was nice and so was the woman that was filling our water glasses. Again I get it, they were busy. I can get over long wait times and even incompetence, because a nice attitude will make up for it. But don’t their patrons at the very least deserve common decency and kindness? Speaking from 10 years in the service industry myself, so please know I was polite on my end.

Very disappointed in the food. My chicken with shrimp and crab meat in lemon sauce was totally tasteless. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. The spaghetti with tomato sauce was tasteless. I Can't believe you can serve food with no taste to it. Luckily I filled up on the bread and butter. I am totally amazed with the other comments from the patrons who say the food was delicious. This was my second time there and the same tasteless food. It's amazing how people can be satisfied by mediocre food.

Our family’s Favorite Restaurant! My husband and I are often there Friday nights. The staff is always EXCELLENT and extremely inviting. Inside is a cozy and outdoor patio is beautiful! BOTH equally wonderful. Every meal is delicious! Try the calamari!! & salads are a favorite of mine. Amici = Friend 💙
