I honestly love this pizza. I’m I love. Not sure why so many negative reviews, most of them about delivery which has nothing to do with the actual goodness and flavor of pizza.

This pizza is addicting. A classic joint with a way of cooking pizza that hasn’t changed for as long as I can remember. Great tasting crust with a simple sauce and excellent cheese. Quick in and out and a nice place to sit if you’ve got a minute.

Best pizza in NJ. Down-to-earth place. You can usually see someone spinning the dough when you walk in. The taste always exceeds expectations. Quality ingredients (cheese, sauce, veggies, etc.) and good prices.

This is a trustworthy business. I recently left a CVS bag in the shop (had gift cards for Christmas in it) and I called the next day and Hickory Pizza had put it away on the side for me to pick up. It saved my day as the bag could have easily “disappeared.” Thanks to Hickory for that!

Had my first Hickory Pizza this past weekend and I think it's safe to say that I have a new favorite spot. This is the NY style pizza I remember eating as a kid. The crust was especially memorable, the slightest touch of sweetness, as if you're eating fresh baked bread. Great cheese to sauce ratio, generous with toppings.

The pizza at Hickory Tree is hands down our family favorite. Thin, chewy crust and generous toppings. We’ve been Orsini from here for years. On our last order we tried the cauliflower pizza crust and we were BLOWN AWAY! So delicious. We could not tell it was cauliflower! It has a nice crunch, chewy, and taste. I can’t stop thinking about this pizza!

Really good NY style pizza. The yummy thin crust kind. I have to agree with the other posters that objected to the ranking here. Some of these low scores must have been payed for by a competitor or something. Or maybe they come from college kids from the mid-west, where pizza is thick and clearly inferior. I don't know about any incidences of rudeness. But I'll tell you this. They make a truly excellent pie.

The Buffalo chicken pizza is the best I've ever eaten anywhere.
That review curve is non-legit, someone had a bad experience for some reason and is A ) posting reviews via fake accounts B ) getting their friends to post. If you had a bad time for a legit reason, try at least writing complete sentences.

It is a crime that this place has under a 4-star rating. I have lived in the area for nearly 24 years and this is quite simply the best pizza place in the area. Whenever I'm in the mood for pizza, I go here.
I have never seen the place being dirty, the staff/owner being inconsiderate, or experienced a bad slice from here. To read that in prior reviews is pure malarkey.
If anything, take those untruthful reviews as another reason to give this place a shot. I'm sure a resounding majority of you will be glad you did.
