Johnny's

Dominick did a FANTASTIC job making our lunch today, even with the COVID-19 stuff going on they had most of their menu available also! I can't wait to get back in here and try the specials when things go back to normal. (The pic is after I ate half the sandwich, some soup, and pickle so I could give the most accurate review 😁 haha) 10/10! The entrance was a little confusing for a non-local and I did have to give them a call to confirm they were located within the Hazeltine center.

Unadvertised quaintness. The cafe is run as a service to the building. Yet I consider it a quality cafe for the public. Management is solid, daily specials, with soup amd salad bar options. Solid value, for people that dont want to gorge on copious quantities of food for lunch. Options available if you do too.

This will be an honest review from my POV. The food is 4-stars, but the options are 2-star so I chose 3-stars. Here's why: CONS: The location is inside a business complex w/o many signs on the street, so it was kind of hard to find. The inside is sort of like a business cafeteria & mostly nicely dressed people are eating there. I felt out of place in my construction clothes to stay and eat. No biggie, just took it to go. If you don't want the Daily Special, they have other food, it just takes a bit to prepare as most people just order the Daily Special. They CANNOT make a Daily Special from another day. Drinks are limited. Soda fountain machine or bottles of water or tea. I also believe the Daily Specials change week to week and there's not really a way to find out what is being served that day w/o getting in line. Kind of locks you in even if you don't want the Daily Special. The menu is limited so be willing to go with the flow. PROS: The food at Johnny's is really good. It's fresh and made to order. If you want/like the daily special, then you are golden - just order that. Most people do. Otherwise, be prepared to order something else off the menu. There is plenty of room to sit if you want to. The people working there are very nice, but there's only one guy preparing food and one lady ringing up people.

I manage this small restaurant located in the city of Chaska, Mn. " Johnny's" is an acknowledgement to John B. Goodman who recently passed away on 3/21/16. The Building itself houses the flagship Goodman Group in addition to it's alloted tenant containment.Public patronizing in addition to our tenants has made this a wonderful work experience I have cherished for 8 plus years.
