The Mill Room

The Mill Room is the perfect Valentine’s Day destination! From the moment we arrived, our waitress Ovi provided us with up most hospitality and service. Most importantly, the place is cute yet elegant and food was cooked to perfection. Not picture was a steak actually cooked medium rare, juice and tender. Pictured are pre-appetizer bread and herb butter, chicken with dirty grit, and stuff croissants. With their special Valentine’s Day menu, I look forward to coming back here for Vday next year.

The physical space is nice, our waitress was competent, the food was average. I had high expectations, but will not return. Several items on the drink menu were not available which could have been communicated prior to making an order. Our party of 7 were seated at a table that might have accommodated 6 comfortably. When you pay top dollar for a meal you should get much more than the Mill Room provided.

Amazing dinner for our anniversary. Ovi, our server, was friendly, attentive and helpful. She even gave us a complementary dessert for our special night. I had the scallop dinner and my husband had the NY strip dinner. Both excellent. We had tiramisu for dessert. Since it was Wednesday, we had an acoustic guitarist for entertainment. We will come back!

For my first time at Boar's Head I couldn't say enough good things about it, granted I was only here for the Winter Wander. The servers at the Mill Room were very cordial and easy to get along with. I went with a party of 5 and our server memorized everyone's order perfectly, and our food was brought out to us just as perfectly. This is a FORMAL restaurant so dress appropriately for such! All in all, a good time was had by everyone!

Had a fabulous experience enjoyed "cuisine comfort and care" as chefs and innkeepers we travel in search of "best guest experiences" and Mill Room never disappoints. Excited to see they have a new chef who is FEMALE (thank you!) and kicking' it with creative fresh seasonal inspiration. The service is phenomenal as Natalia made us feel most welcome and special. The Boars Head Resort is one of those places we go to for inspiration and to enjoy the very best in cuisine, comfort and care <3 Thanks you!! See you again soon

The restaurant has a really nice ambiance and atmosphere; more than casual dining. There is no dress code, some guests wore sport coats and others long sleeve button downs. An occasional person in gulf attire. Ham and jam board was fantastic, definitely recommend for an appetizer. The huntsman cocktail was also fantastic. NY strip was good but not great. Shrimp and grits was great. A great dining experience and will definitely visit again on our next special occasion.
