$5 Pizza Champlin

Me and my mother payed a visit out of curiosity on a Friday afternoon. We didn't know what to get, so Mary recommended the Gyros since it was a popular menu item and I can see why it is popular. It was very tasty and prepared fresh. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come back and try some other menu items. It's a shame that's Marys Deli & Pizza still has the ratings from the previous $5 pizza. Ignore those as this place is definitely worth checking out.

We got gyros and pizza for a birthday lunch and it was phenomenal! The gyro was generously portioned and reminded me of a New York deli style gyro, very good! The baklava was very flavorful and delicious. The pizza was great as always - soft, fluffy (but not deep dish) crust, mild sauce and perfectly cheesed. Thanks Mary!

We ordered a gyro platter, inferno pizza, and cheese curds. The gyro platter was missing a pita. Also, the meat was sour like maybe lemon was squirted on it. It was also very thickly cut. It lacked any flavor besides the bitterness. The crust on the pizza was VERY tough and the pizza lacked sauce. My husband said the flavor was fine. I did not receive the cheese curds. Instead I was given a large box of french fries. The fries were fine. Nothing to complain about. I received no call or message to tell me they were out of cheese curds or to ask if I would like a substitution. All around a very disappointing experience. EDIT: I received NO call from the owner despite them saying I did. So not only was it poor food and service but the owner is now lying which is just embarrassing for them and their business. I have nothing to gain from lying about not receiving a call. I did not place my order over the phone, I used GrubHub so no phone call between the restaurant and myself happened.
