*Edit* Increased to 2 stars since they were able to produce fresh fries and a coke within ten minutes when we gave them a second chance. But to be clear, the original review was not due to long waits or short staffed, it was because I couldn’t even tell who worked there and who didn’t in the completely unprofessional environment, without any kind of greeting or attempt to serve.
Horrible service. Placed a mobile order on the way back to our hotel. It’s supposed to be open 24/7. Pulled up to the drive thru that had zero cars in it, waited. Nothing. Called “hello” into the speaker. Nothing. Pulled up to the only window and literally watched three different workers pick up their food and drinks they are eating and scatter out of view with obvious avoidance. Waited a few minutes to see if it was just coincidence and still nothing. So I parked and went in. They have a big sign on the register saying to use their kiosk to order. They DO NOT want to take your order. None of the employees were in uniform or wearing name tags. All of them seemed to be flirting and showing off for their group of high school friends sitting and being loud in the dining room. Then two of the seem to be employees took off in the parking lot and proceeded to speed, peel out, and honk excessively as if they were on a race track around the lot. Dining room was a mess.
As for our food, the fries were barely warm and the slushy was half melted.
Avoid unless you enjoy wasting your time and being disappointed.

My granddaughter got food poisoning from 1 of the locations. This company is a MULTI BILLION CORPORATION but... Their French fries always taste like cardboard, the employees are just trying to RUSH you through the drive through so fast that they DON'T take out the time to make SIRE that your order is CORRECT AND MAKE SURE that your food is FRESH.

I've been waiting in line with 2 other cars for 35 minutes.
Trust me, DO NOT VISIT THIS MCDONALD'S. They are physically incapable of getting orders through a drive through.
Inside is also no better.
Just get a snack from loves and roll on with your trip.

Tried the land sea air sandwich and was expecting for it to be built but it wasn't. Had to look it up but apparently everything is given to separately and you are supposed to build it. That wasn't really my issue because I had fun building it and it being very nasty afterwards and then finish it but the issue for our thing was that nothing was fresh except for the ice cream cone and the milkshake. The chicken nuggets for rubbery, the burgers were bland so they didn't put seasoned salt or hardly any season salt on them, the food in general were lukewarm and we could tell just by that that they were not fresh. But again, that new sandwich is totally fun to make and warning you ahead of time it's going to be fun and challenging and super messy but I think it was because nothing was fresh that it tasted nasty. I'm assuming if it was good and fresh then it will taste a whole lot better but with how everything was, there was just too much going on and overpowering fish taste.

McDonalds will never be what it once was. Because of this they will never get a rating above 3 from me. As for this visit, they were slammed with customers and the staff was a little slow. Friendly as they were, the lower rating is because fast food should be fast especially at a truck stop where drivers have little time to spend waiting.

I’d leave negative stars if I could and I intend to reach a member of management about my experience and shouldn’t have used profanity while pulling off and telling her what to do with my order- but wow! McDonald’s doesn’t do rewards for members of their staff to give paying customers issues when trying to redeem them! Holy cow, wanna yell and call me a liar in the drive thru window when I’m showing you in the app the sandwich is free??? Too many people are trying to find jobs when people who aren’t deserving keep theirs! I will never be back unless I know she’s unemployed!!! Terrible!

The "woman" with the little boy haircut needs to learn how to speak to people. You order something curbside because well THAT'S WHAT THE APP ALLOWS and she wants to walk outside with an attitude and say "We don't do curbside after 9pm so this is the last time you'll get something curbside." Then walks off. I asked so you don't do drive thru either apparently since you always block it off with a cone? "I don't have the crew for that!" And keeps walking. She needs to run back to her trailer park and play with her redneck friends because clearly the public life isn't for her.

Yes, they struggle with the amount of customer coming in, the general public, truckers, and busses from the sporting complex, and tour busses coming from I75.
BUT, it's obvious they are trying as hard as they can, and trying to make it a good experience as best they can. It's unfortunate their store has such limited staffing, I know alot of America is struggling with staffing. But I also know, if the employment offer was better, they would have a line of people out the door applying. And yes there is a balance between paying to little and paying to much. Right now, every time I'm in here I see people walking out the door, not paying, and mad. This location is supposed to be 24 hrs. But they close often because of lack of staffing. So the store is paying money either way. I suggest they put more for the serving the customers, and providing a service, instead of excuses of poor staffing. If you cut get people, you not offering enough. Simple math.
