Taco Mac

It was okay. We started off with the eggrolls, wings and cheese dip which was really good. The eggrolls were the star. The wings were okay. We ordered chicken nachos and the chips came on the side, which I LOVED because I hate soggy chips but there was almost no meat in the cheese bowl on the side. It was all cheese, I had to return my food. I would come again, just order something different. The burger was great and the wings and pretzel bites were really good. We will come back. Great customer service.

I know times are tough but a good burger doesn’t have to be. I enjoy a great tasting burger and this was not one of them. When a server tells you they don’t cook to order but only one way that isn’t a good sign. Also the amount of mustard was too over powering. Oh and the pickle spear was more like a pickle fry it was so thin.

Overall, I would say slightly below average. Service quite slow. Normal paper menus that show all drinks, all kids meals, etc would make the process of ordering much smoother for the customer. The food was decent but for the price it seems like a kid's meal should include fresh fruit, not a Dollar Store prepackaged fruit cup. Probably would not return.

The Queen and I stopped at Taco Mac on Sunday while we where out in the area. There was a 30 minutes wait, which they text you and let you know your order is ready, so I liked that. 30 minutes to kill, good thing there is a Target and Best Buy right next door. So the wait was a breeze. I planned on buying dog food at Pet Smart next door anyway. I'm not the biggest Covid person, but I DO respect those who do. So rest easy knowing they still keep social distancing at tables and booths. The cleanliness was up to par as well! Our waitress checked on us enough to show she cared. But not enough that it was annoying. All our drinks and food came out on a timely manor and we had no issues with anything. We got the large quaso and chips with 10 sweet/spicy takiaki wings to share. My girl and I both got street tacos ( chicken for her and steak for myself). I'm not sure if corn tortillas are an option (I didn't see it) but they do come on a flour tortilla if you at least don't say anything. In my opinion even with a flour tortilla, they where pretty good! I'd have liked more spicy, but I am sure I can ask for that next time. I like to order it how's it's made my first try and adjust from there. All in all it was a pretty nice experience! I definitely would prefer this place over some of the other sports bars I have been too.

I want to give a Big Shout Out to Taco Mac!!! Yesterday there were approximately 25 of us that showed up and they graciously were able to accommodate all of us despite only having 2 servers!!! Mind you several other places were not able to!!! The service was top notch and the food was also good!!! So thank you Taco Mac for all you did for my family yesterday!!! It meant the world to my family for us all to share a meal together after a funeral for a very important person in our family!!!

Always a pleasure to chill at the Mac. I've been going to various taco macs in and around Atlanta since the mid 90s. Even worked at one. The food menu is uncomplicated, cooked to order and a is solid representative of American bar Tex mex. The beers to choose from are almost overwhelming, but the staff can point you in the right direction. So stop in, relax, grab some Queso and torts, and enjoy a cold one.

If you like your beer warm, your chips stale and your fish extra crispy, then you might like this place. Haven't been in there in a really long time and thought we might give them a second chance after our last so-so visit. Big mistake! Menu has been reduced to almost nothing. For my wife's first choice, they were out of Honey mustard dressing. For her second choice, "I'm sorry ma'am, our burgers are only cooked one way." Her third choice was to have Fish and Chip's like me. The Cod was very over cooked and extremely crunchy. French fries could have definitely been better. I like my Sweetwater 420 beer ice cold, not bathwater warm. Giving the benefit of a doubt that it may have been a fresh glass out of the dishwasher that warmed the beer, I ordered a second one. Left half of it sitting there! One of the other male servers had shoulder length hair. As he was coming out of the kitchen, a female server was following him and fluffing his hair for him! Aren't hair nets a thing anymore or is it ok to let hair fly loose into someone's food? What appeared to be the Kitchen Manager had his facial hair secured with a rubber band. Saw several managers walking around, but not engaging with any customers at all. The only thing positive about our visit was our server. He was very apologetic about the circumstances and did his best considering what he had to work with and what was going on around him. Very poor experience at a restaurant chain that I frequented at least monthly just a few years ago.
