S&s Restaurant

S&S Definitely has a family diner feel. It’s a fairly large restaurant with lots of seating. There’s a portion of the restaurant that offers coffee, deli meats, cheeses and other produce. I came during a busy time (noontime) - there was about a eight minute wait to be seated. The only accommodations they have for solo dining is at the bar. My waitress is very kind and attentive, however due to the sheer volume of people, it took a while for me to get a drink and something to eat. I got one of the most popular items which was a lox pizza with cornbread (Mama’s pizza special). For the most popular item in their menu I have to say that it was okay. Cornbread crust was doing most of the work alongside a thick cut of cheese on top. While being somewhat tasty, it was unique I’ve never had anything like it before. Food - 12/20 Atmosphere - 6/10 Service - 6/10 Total - 24/40

Excellent restaurant and deli. Lots of seating and the staff is always friendly. They even have 2 small parking lots which is a luxury in Cambridge. The food is always delicious. Not pictured here are the S&S wings. I've been eating them since I was a kid and I think they are the best in the Boston area. I highly recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the breakfast omelet here Plenty of options with variety of different breakfast lunch & dinner plates available. The egg white omelet with pesto & turkey bacon was fantastic, the plate was full of food that you can definitely get stuffed in one sitting. Very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating, parking is terrible being it is Cambridge so I’d suggest taking an Uber or The T. Glad I found a new spot I can go to when I’m in need of some breakfast that can get me through the morning.

Our team got catering from here, and a pasta salad from the gluten free bag got me incredibly sick. Either it was not gluten free or horribly contaminated. Normally when this happens I just let it go, but what really gave this place the one star was when I tried to call the lady who picked up the phone was incredibly rude, and cut me off before I could explain what I was looking for (I was trying to get clarification on a catering related manner.) I understand mistakes happen. They took down my number and never called me back. It’s all just very frustrating
